Lahore is about 1,000km from Awaran, but it might as well be a planet away in terms of Human Development. No part of Pakistan is more developmentally distant from Pakistan than Balochistan.

10yr (2005-15) analysis of HDI across Punjab in pkNHDR
All of Punjab's top HDI districts are Central and North. Its least HDI all in South and West. Of 10 districts showing most improved ranking, 3 in Punjab (Okara Khushab Lodhran)
10yr (2005-15) analysis of HDI across Balochistan in pkNHDR
Of 15 districts with Very Low HDI, all but 3 in Balochistan (so is FATA). Least performing district in Punjab (Rajanpur) still higher than ALL Balochistan districts except Quetta.
