PTI UK elected officials meet Imran Khan in London | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: medium;">LONDON: All elected office bearers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) UK met Party???s Chairman Mr Imran Khan at his residence in London, for a formal evening. The elected regional teams travelled from across the England to meet their leader first time after the Elections in January 2012. He advised the elected teams, ???It???s the performance and not the title that brings the respect???. Mr Hamid Khan, Senior Vice President of PTI, has conducted the elections, Senior leadership in Pakistan has endorsed the results and all of the elected offices must take the authority to take decisions, emphasized Mr Khan.<br /> Overseas voting right is a huge milestone for PTI and all regional teams must recruit paid as well as unpaid members as they are our prospective voters, he advised. President North West Mr Amer Chishti told party Chairman that their membership drive is in full swing and has already covered 80% of their region.<br /> Mr Khan commended the initiative of Business Consortium and Investors??? forum and encouraged the elected regional teams to engage all Pakistan Business community.&#160; <br /> Mr Furqan Nadeem, General Secretary London, briefed Mr Khan about the vision of PTI team London. Dr Fouzia Sadiq, Information Secretary London, explained about the initiative that has been taken to form a media cell to train young leaders for media appearances. Mr Khan gave some media tips to the budding leadership in the UK.<br /> While replying to a question regarding the launch of PTI in Kashmir, he replied, the initiative has been taken and PTI will also be representing Kashmiris in Azad Kashmir in the near future.<br /> General Secretary Southeast expressed his teams concerns about the 20th Amendment and sought if the Civil Disobedience Movement is likely to be launched. ???We would take a decision on this according to the situation and we are confident of the street power of PTI and that we can bring the city to a standstill at any time, replied Khan with an unflagging determination.<br /> Other elected officials from London, who attended the event included Finance Secretary Zaid Khan.
