The senior members of PTI from all over the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> also participated. Addressing to the meeting, PTI Coordinator for Europe, Mr Akram Dhareeja from <st1:place w:st="on">Nottingham</st1:place>, said that every PTI worker is an asset and all of us should unite to work towards organisational structure within the party. We should take proactive initiatives to bring grass root level change within the party, he stressed. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;</span>We should not be afraid of being expelled from the party as only elected leadership has the right to do so, he added.<br /> </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.55pt; margin: 0in 0in 0pt 35.45pt; mso-add-space: auto"><span lang="EN-GB" style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 14pt">Renowned Barrister and young leader of PTI, Mian Waheed-ur-Rehman, emphasised the need of unity among <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> activists. He also suggested to form an Advisory Board Council, representing all factions of PTI <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region>, to facilitate free and fair electoral processes. Adhoc structure within the party cannot be effective and for long term progression and stability in the party, succinct policies need to be defined, he said.<br /> </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in"><span lang="EN-GB" style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 14pt"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;</span>Senior leader, Chaudhary Khalil from <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Birmingham</st1:place></st1:city>, said that PTI UK should set an example by working together for establishing infrastructure within this chapter. Asim Khan, a competent young leader of PTI, said that to bring a cohesive change within the PTI UK, we must follow International constitution as well as the local tailor made regulations. Members should be empowered, financial transparency must be regulated, he added. He also endorsed Advisory Board Council, proposed by Mian Waheed-ur-Rehman in the meeting. Another young leader, Talas Khan, suggested to have an opposition leader within the party for check and balance purpose. The participants passed resolutions to support Dr Afia Siddique???s release, an independent election commission, Kashmiris struggle for independence and condemned drone attack by US planes within <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Pakistan</st1:place></st1:country-region> territory. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;</span><o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in"><span lang="EN-GB" style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 14pt">Other participants who attended the meeting were Mr Shafeeq Rabbani, Mr Abdul Qawi Awan, Mr Akram Dhareeja, Mr M.A Raja, Mr Atif Mayo, Mr Khawaja Nadir, Mr Saeed Hashmi, Mr Saleem Akram Qazi, Mr Asher Qureshi, Mr Asim Khan, Mr Hammad Malik, Mr Umaran Aslam, Miss Sana Aslam, Mr Sajjad Ahmed, Mr Syed Akmal Bukhari, Mr Shahid Rashid, Mr Talas Khan, Mr Chaudhary Khalil, Mr Mohd Bin Qasim, Mr Mian Waheed, and Dr Fouzia Sadiq. In the meeting the participants unanimously decided to call all <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> members meeting next month.
