PTI London Dream Team announces the expansion in the structure and Iftar Dinner in the honour of Justice (R) Khalid Javed

London: Today PTI London Dream Team had their routine meeting at a central London location to announce the expansion in the London structure and also to host an iftar party afterwards. Members of dream team and London elected body were present there along with representatives of Southeast and East of England teams. Justice (R) Khalid Javed also attended the meeting as an observer from PTI Pakistan. At the start of the meeting, PTI London president Asim Khan gave a presentation about the progress of dream team and said that due to growing activities in London, further small teams will be organised along with already existing events management, social media and membership teams. He announced the teams for creative writers, business liaison and media teams. It was announced that initially Asim Khan himself will be leading the creative writers??? team, while Irfan Awan, Farhad Iftikhar and Asim Inyat Ullah will be in supporting role. Adeel Lodhi who stepped down as Dream Team Event Coordinator at the end of his term will be leading the business liaison team. Asim Khan reiterated that the teams focus should remain on making more paid members and finding opportunities for fund raising along with other political activities. He said that the way these teams are growing very soon UK has become the largest PTI international chapter. During the meeting, Kashif Khan was elected the new event coordinator of London Dream Team. Irfan Awan and Sohail Chaudhary were elected in the support role. Kashif Khan pledged that during his term as the event coordinator, a nationwide membership???s campaign will be the focal point of Dream Team. He said that membership desks will be set up in areas with large Pakistani population on regular basis and this should start as early as next week. Asad Mahmood (Coordinator IRW) thanked Justice (R) Javed for his support for Dream Team and also asked him to continue his support in terms of guidance and advice in future. Asad Mahmood said that all teams should be ready for their biggest task as general elections in Pakistan are expected to be announced in few months. Justice (R) Javed thanked London team for hosting the Iftar dinner. He praised the team for their discipline and dedication. He said that the Pakistani community in the UK is mostly educated and have done well in terms of jobs and business; and this reflects very well in this team meeting. He said that after his return to Pakistan he would still keep regular contact with London teams and would like Islamabad teams to work with London teams. He said that working hard for a better Pakistan is the order of the day, and this is his main reason to join PTI. He said that we as a nation should put our individual interests aside and work for our collective objective as one unit. Aamer Rana and Rana Ijaz represented the southeast and East of England teams respectively. London Vice president Mr Qawi Awan and General Secretary Furqan Nadeem were also present at the meeting. Some new entrants to the movement were welcomed at the meeting and were assigned responsibilities. After the meeting, there was an informal question answer session held with Justice (R) Javed and Asim Khan. Justice (R) Javed asked the team members to ask question openly and clear any doubts if any. The team loved the open and frank discussion and answers by Justice (R) Javed and Asim Khan. The meeting ended with a promise to work hard for Pakistan and PTI. PTI London Dream Team
