Abu Dhabi - 12 October 2012 - Today, Mr. Rana Avais & Mr. Syed Haleem Shah from PTI Abu Dhabi attended a meeting with tribal representatives and elders of FR Dera Ismail Khan and South Waziristan residing/working in emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE. In the meeting these brave Pakistanis expressed their support and confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan and decided to join PTI along with hundreds of their members. This meeting was part of campaign being run by PTI Abu Dhabi on instructions of Chairman Imran Khan to organize Pakistani expatriates from tribal areas living in UAE on the platform of PTI. Speaking on behalf of their tribes and communities, Mr. Gul Badshah Khan Shirani and Mr.Bhai Khan Shirani, assured their full support and faith in the vision of Chairman Imran Khan. They also congratulated PTI for a successful Peace March to South Waziristan. They also paid their gratitude to PTI and Imran Khan upon bringing up the issue of drone attacks and highlighting it in international media. They were pleased to see PTI as Pakistan???s first mainstream political party that practically came to these ignored regions providing them with an opportunity to participate in national politics. Mr. Rana Avais and Mr. Syed Haleem Shah thanked all the participants for their support and hospitality. They also emphasized that through active political participation by masses from these areas can address their issues and problems on national scale. Pakistan???s stability and growth is linked with peace and development of these regions. It was decided in the meeting that PTI supporters from these areas living in Abu Dhabi will be organized under PTI Abu Dhabi Platform. PTI Abu Dhabi representatives will assist them to form committees and bodies consisting of different regions of FATA. Furthermore all the participants were explained, how they may contribute to the cause of PTI and support the party in upcoming national elections while being away from Pakistan.
