Education - A Major Requirement
When you have got that light of knowledge by means of education and when you have made yourselves strong economically and industrially, then you have got to prepared yourselves for your defence -- defence against external aggression and to maintain internal security.

These are the words of the founder of Pakistan for the youth of the nation. But unfortunately Education is that field which is rarely harvested. Every government talking about the educational revolution but Since the establishment of Pakistan education has had one of the lowest budget to date.
"The whole object of education is to develop the mind. The mind should be a thing that works".
We do not need to blame any one in particular, every government has played its equal share in ignoring the importance of the matter. Due to which we are unable to see production and prosperity in the nation. Only those kids are blessed with this basic requirement who are able to afford it, otherwise the rest live in the slums of illiteracy.
Its always easy to play the blame game which every party does especially near the elections but what actually needs to be done is make educational reforms. This country is under a very critical need of educational emergency, in which the institutions should be brought to an equal level. There should be no difference between the Private and Government institutions."The great aim of education is not knowledge but action".The students should be given an equal platform to enhance themselves rather than having a feeling of deprivation. The government should invest money on the educational sectors and spread it to the grass root level too,rather than depriving the kids of the rural areas. The teachers should be given training too, which should not only guide them on how to teach and how to deal with students only. But also teach them character building, which is the core of any nation. They should put a stop to these laptop schemes, danish schools, and other schemes and look into more serious matters which will not only make the lives of the youth but it will also help the country to Prosper.

What needs to be realized is that Sir Syed at that time had emphasized on education which if had been listened to, today we would have been in a far more better situation. But its never to late.
