Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Open Letters to Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir
Imran Khan, Pakistan's former Prime Minister and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has written three open letters to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, highlighting grave concerns about political persecution, human rights violations, the declining economy, the collapse of the judicial system, and the state of democracy in Pakistan.
In his letters, Khan criticizes General Asim Munir’s flawed policies, stating that the attempts to suppress PTI and its leadership are not only damaging the country but also widening the gap between the army and the people of Pakistan. He highlights the stolen mandate, the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the draconian PECA Amendment, the political victimization of PTI and Military establishment’s interference in politics as key factors pushing the country to the brink of collapse. Imran Khan has called on General Asim Munir to uphold the Constitution and the law. He also urged the army to stop interfering in politics, cease the manipulation of Pakistan’s political landscape, and operate within its constitutional boundaries.
Imran Khan’s letters reflect a steadfast demand for justice, accountability, and the restoration of true democracy in Pakistan. This is the only way forward!
