"Happy New Year to everyone! 2025 is the year of our genuine freedom, in which, God willing, this fake and fascist system that is already on shaky grounds, will be defeated.
During this authoritarian era, the breach of personal freedoms, violation of fundamental legal rights, and destruction of institutions have not only disrupted the country's social and political systems but also its legal and economic frameworks. The absurd manner in which Khalid Khurshid was sentenced to 34 years in prison demonstrates that there is no rule of law in our country anymore, and a terrible undeclared dictatorship prevails. Even in Musharraf’s era, we criticized military interference but never faced such oppression and fascism. We strongly criticized the military’s political interventions before the lawyers' movement, but back then, no agency would abduct citizens in such a manner.
The establishment of a constitutional court has destroyed the entire judicial system. The remnants of Qazi Faez Isa’s group have taken control of the judiciary, ensuring that verdicts align with GHQ directives.
Four illegal verdicts were given against me last year. I expect a similar outcome on Monday in the Al-Qadir case. Such lawless rulings tarnish Pakistan’s image globally. Verdicts (against civilians) by military courts have done away with the rule of law in Pakistan. No country can attract investment without the rule of law. Pakistan's growth rate remains zero. Without economic growth, we can neither be debt-free nor eliminate unemployment.
My stance has always been clear that Pakistan’s decisions should be made within Pakistan. However, when it comes to basic human rights, voices will naturally rise globally. Institutions like the United Nations exist for this purpose. Enlightened people all over the world raise their voices against violation of basic rights. Aristotle had said that it is every citizen’s duty to speak out against human rights violations. Only two types of people remain silent: the selfish and the cowardly.
I expect Trump to remain neutral, unlike Biden who, as the world knows, influenced by General Bajwa, played a role in ousting our government through a vote of no confidence, which was blatant interference.
Our negotiation committee is engaging with the government. Our demands are legitimate:
Formation of a judicial commission on November 26th (2024) and May 9th (2023)
Release of political prisoners

Statements by DG ISPR about the events of May 9th are blatantly untrue. The straightforward principle is that whoever stole the CCTV footage orchestrated the May 9th events. Verdicts in these cases were obtained from military courts because no one was going to demand the CCTV footage there. Our people were directly shot at and martyred on November 26th. The entire truth will be revealed when transparent investigations of these two incidents are conducted.
We have given the government a deadline of January 31st. Our campaign to boycott remittances continues alongside negotiations. The boycott campaign can be reconsidered if the government shows that they are serious about addressing our demands.
I have been indirectly approached with an offer to transfer me to my Bani Gala residence. My stance is clear: release my detained workers and leaders first. Only then will I consider discussing my personal situation. I was also offered the opportunity of a three-year exile while I was in Attock Jail, but I will live and die in Pakistan. I will fight for my country's freedom until my last breath, and I expect my nation to do the same."

اس آمرانہ دور میں شخصی آزادیوں کے خاتمے، بنیادی قانونی حقوق کی پامالیوں اور اداروں کی تباہی نے ملک کے ناصرف سماجی و سیاسی نظام بلکہ قانونی و معاشی نظام کو بھی درہم برہم کر دیا ہے۔جس بھونڈے انداز میں خالد خورشید کو 34 سال قید کی سزا سنائی گئی اس سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ ملک میں رول آف لا کا خاتمہ ہو چکا ہے اور غیر اعلانیہ بدترین آمریت کا راج ہے۔ مشرف دور میں بھی ہم فوج کی مداخلت پر تنقید کرتے رہے ہیں لیکن اسکے باوجود ہمیں اس قسم کی جبر و فسطائیت کا سامنا نہیں کرنا پڑا۔ وکلاء تحریک سے پہلے بھی ہم فوج کی سیاسی مداخلت کے خلاف بھرپور تنقید کرتے تھے، لیکن تب کوئی ایجنسی اپنے شہریوں کو اس طرح سے نہیں اُٹھاتی تھی۔
آئینی عدالت بنا کر پورے عدالتی نظام کو تباہ کیا گیا اور قاضی فائز عیسی کی باقیات کو عدالتی نظام کا قبضہ دے دیا گیا تاکہ قاضی کی روایت برقرار رکھتے ہوئے عدالتی فیصلے جی ایچ کیو کے زیر اثر کروائے جا سکیں۔
میرے خلاف پچھلے سال بھی چار غیر قانونی فیصلے دئیے گئے تھے۔ سوموار کو القادر کیس کا فیصلہ بھی ویسا ہی توقع کر رہا ہوں۔ ایسے ہی لا قانونیت پر مبنی فیصلے پوری دنیا میں پاکستان کی بدنامی کا باعث بنتے ہیں ۔
ملٹری کورٹس جیسے فیصلوں سے پاکستان میں قانون کی حکمرانی کا خاتمہ ہو گیا ہے۔ جس ملک میں قانون کی حکمرانی نہ ہو وہاں کوئی سرمایہ کاری کرنے کو تیار نہیں ہوتا ۔ پاکستان میں اب بھی گروتھ ریٹ صفر ہے جب معاشی ترقی ہی نہیں ہو گی تو نہ ہم قرضوں سے نکل پائیں گے اور نہ ہی بے روزگاری کا خاتمہ ہو گا ۔
پاکستان کے فیصلے پاکستان میں ہی ہوں گے اس سے متعلق میرا موقف واضح ہے لیکن جب بنیادی انسانی حقوق کا معاملہ ہوتا ہے تو پوری دنیا سے آوازیں اٹھنا فطری عمل ہے ۔ اقوام متحدہ جیسے ادارے اسی لیے ہیں ۔ دنیا کے تمام ذی شعور انسان بنیادی حقوق کی پامالی کے خلاف آواز اٹھاتے ہیں ۔ ارسطو نے بھی یہی کہا تھا ہر شہری کا فرض ہے انسانی حقوق کی پامالی ہو تو آواز اٹھائے ۔ دو قسم کے لوگ ہی انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں پر آواز بلند نہیں کرتے: ایک خودغرض اور دوسرے بزدل۔
ٹرمپ سے یہی توقع ہے کہ وہ نیوٹرل رہیں گے کیونکہ بائیڈن نے جنرل باجوہ کے اکسانے پر ہماری حکومت کو عدم اعتماد کے ذریعے ہٹا کر واضح مداخلت کی تھی جو ساری دنیا جانتی ہے ۔

ڈی جی ائی ایس پی آر 9 مئی پر صریح غلط بیانی کر رہے ہیں۔ سیدھا اصول یہی ہے کہ جس نے سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج چرائی اس نے ہی 9 مئی کروایا۔ ملٹری کورٹس سے فیصلے بھی اسی لیے کروائے گئے کہ وہاں کسی نے سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج مانگنی ہی نہیں تھی ۔26 نومبر کو سیدھی گولیاں مار کر ہمارے لوگوں کو شہید کیا گیا جب بھی ان دو واقعات کی شفاف تحقیقات ہوں گی دودھ کا دودھ پانی کا پانی ہو جائے گا۔
ہم نے حکومت کو 31 جنوری تک کی ڈیڈ لائن دی ہے۔ مذاکرات اور اسکے ساتھ ساتھ ترسیلاتِ زر کے بائیکاٹ کی مہم بھی جاری ہے۔ اگر حکومت نے ہمارے مطالبات کی منظوری میں سنجیدگی دکھائی تو بائیکاٹ مہم پہ دوبارہ غور کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
مجھے بالواسطہ طور پہ بنی گالہ منتقل کرنے کی پیشکش کی گئی ہے۔ میرا موقف واضح ہے کہ پہلے میرے اسیر کارکنان اور رہنماؤں کو چھوڑا جائے اسکے بعد میری بات ہو گی۔ اٹک جیل میں بھی مجھے تین سال تک باہر بھیجنے کی پیشکش کی گئی تھی۔ لیکن میرا جینا مرنا پاکستان ہے ۔ میں آخری سانس تک ملک کی آزادی کی جنگ لڑوں گا اور اپنی قوم سے بھی یہی امید کرتا ہوں
