All Pakistanis, as a nation, must remain vigilant and united. Narendra Modi sought to bolster his domestic standing by launching aggression against Pakistan. His nefarious ambitions have failed, and he is wounded. In the wake of his humiliation, he may act even more recklessly — for which we, as a nation, must be prepared.
Under these circumstances, the country urgently needs unity and cohesion. It is imperative that the people’s voice be heard in order to attain this unity.
I have always maintained that, for the sake of Pakistan, I am willing to talk to anyone who holds power — in order to restore the Constitution and the rule of law, ensure judicial independence, and put an end to oppression. I seek neither a deal nor personal comfort.
Engaging with the puppet government of the PML-N is utterly futile. This regime exists solely to cling to its illegitimate power and holds no real authority. It is a government that has decimated Pakistan’s moral compass and constitutional framework. Whatever remnants of our ethical and cultural structure still existed, have been thoroughly destroyed over the past two years. At present, being a thief or a plunderer have become a hallmark of power.
In today’s Pakistan, those who believe in "Amr bil Ma'ruf" — enjoining good and standing for truth — are branded as criminals. Those granted NROs occupy the highest offices. Those aligned with crooks receive pardons, while those who stand with truth are thrown behind bars.
When the people came out on May 9th (2023) to peacefully protest against injustice, what treatment did they receive? Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Andleeb Abbas were in the same vehicle — one held a press conference and parroted the false narrative, and she now walks free; the other, who stood by the truth, remains imprisoned.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also under immense pressure to testify against me in the cipher case. Yet, he chose to stand with the truth. Despite being acquitted in that case, he is still in jail. Had he sided with falsehood, he would be a free man today.
Despite the grandiose and hollow claims of the Form-47-installed government, Pakistan’s economy is sinking. There is virtually no investment in the country, and job opportunities for the youth are nearly nonexistent. The economic crisis is a direct result of the collapse of constitutional and legal order.
This regime of lies and deception cannot withstand the scrutiny of an independent judiciary. Since the brazen theft of the public mandate on February 8, 2024, a relentless attack on the judicial system has been underway. The 26th Constitutional Amendment is a key part of this assault — a product manufactured in the PML-N and establishment’s "factory" by Azam Tarar and Ahsan Bhoon. Its goal is to replace one Qazi Faez Isa with many — to plant a judge in every court who buries justice and enables systemic subversion of the law.
The ignorant forces in power are oppressing the people of Pakistan across every province to protect this fraudulent system. The sanctity of privacy of homes has been violated. Abductions and torture of political opponents, especially PTI workers, have become routine.
As Hazrat Ali (RA) famously said: “A system based on disbelief may survive, but one based on injustice cannot.” God willing, the current unjust and repressive system in Pakistan will not last much longer.
I was heartened to hear from my sisters about the contents of Kasim and Sulaiman’s first interview. The overwhelming public appreciation and positive reception of it has brought me great joy.
At present, human rights in Pakistan stand completely suspended. I continue to face inhumane treatment in prison. I am denied communication with my children for months at a time. Even my books are kept from me, and I am not granted access to my personal physician — in clear and repeated contempt of court orders and laws.
I pay tribute to my party’s leaders, women, and workers who continue to endure the hardships of unjust imprisonment. Those incarcerated under illegitimate military courts remain symbols of courage and resilience.
“تمام پاکستانیوں کو بحیثیت قوم چوکس اور متحد رہنے کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔ نریندر مودی پاکستان پر حملے سے اپنی اندرونی ساکھ کو بڑھاوا دینا چاہتا تھا، اس کے مذموم عزائم ناکام ہو چکے ہیں اور وہ زخمی ہے- وہ اپنی رسوائی کے بعد مزید حماقت کرے گا، جس کے لیے ہمیں بطور قوم تیار رہنا چاہیے۔
ان حالات میں ملک و قوم کو اتحاد اور یگانگت کی بہت ضرورت ہے۔ اس اتحاد کے لیے بہت ضروری ہے کہ عوام کی آواز کو سنا جائے۔
میں نے ہمیشہ کہا ہے کہ پاکستان کی خاطر آئین و قانون کی بحالی، عدلیہ کی آزادی اور ظلم کے خاتمے کے لیے جس کے پاس اختیار ہے اس سے بات کرنے کے لیے تیار ہوں۔ مجھے اپنے لیے کسی ڈیل یا آسائش کی ضرورت نہیں۔
نون لیگ کی کٹھ پتلی حکومت سے کسی بھی قسم کی گفتگو یا مذاکرات بے فائدہ ہیں۔ اس حکومت کا جھوٹے اقتدار سے چمٹے رہنے کے سوا کوئی مقصد نہیں۔ ان کے اختیار میں کچھ بھی نہیں ہے۔ یہ وہ حکومت ہے جس نے پاکستان کی اخلاقی اقدار اور آئینی ڈھانچے کو بالکل تباہ کر کے رکھ دیا ہے۔ پاکستان کا جو تہذیبی و اخلاقی ڈھانچہ تھوڑا بہت قائم تھا، وہ ان لوگوں نے پچھلے دو سال میں مکمل طور پر تباہ کر دیا ہے۔ چور ہونا یا ڈاکو ہونا اس وقت اقتدار کی علامت بن چکا ہے۔
آج کے حالات ایسے ہیں کہ اگر آپ “امر بالمعروف” پر یقین رکھتے ہیں، اگر آپ نیکی اور سچائی کا راستہ دکھاتے ہیں، تو آپ جرم کے مرتکب سمجھے جاتے ہیں۔ آج کے پاکستان میں جن کو این آر او ملتا ہے، وہی سب سے بڑے عہدوں پر براجمان ہوتے ہیں۔ جو چوروں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، انہیں معافی ملتی ہے- لیکن جو سچ کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، وہ جیل میں ڈالے جا رہے ہیں۔
جب عوام 9 مئی کو ظلم کے خلاف سڑکوں پر پرامن احتجاج کے لیے نکلی، تو ان کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کیا گیا؟ ڈاکٹر یاسمین راشد اور عندلیب عباس دونوں ایک ہی گاڑی میں سوار تھیں لیکن ایک نے پریس کانفرنس کر کے سچ کے خلاف مؤقف اختیار کیا، وہ آج باہر ہے، اور جو سچ کے ساتھ کھڑی رہیں، وہ آج بھی جیل میں ہیں۔
شاہ محمود قریشی پر بھی شدید دباؤ تھا کہ وہ سائفر کیس میں میرے خلاف بیان دیں، لیکن جب انہوں نے سچ کا ساتھ دیا، تو وہ آج اس کیس سے بری ہونے کے باوجود بھی جیل میں ہیں۔ اگر وہ جھوٹ کے ساتھ ہوتے، تو آزاد گھوم رہے ہوتے۔
الیکشن کی لوٹ پر کھڑی فارم 47 حکومت کے بلند و بانگ کھوکھلے دعووں کے باوجود پاکستان کی معیشت ڈوب رہی ہے۔ ملک میں سرمایہ کاری نہ ہونے کے برابر ہے، نوجوانوں کے لیے نوکریوں کا حصول ناممکن ہے۔ معیشت کی بدحالی دراصل ملک میں آئین و قانون کے نظام کی تباہی کا نتیجہ ہے۔
جھوٹ اور فریب پر مبنی یہ نظام آزاد عدلیہ کا سامنا نہیں کر سکتا۔ 8 فروری 2024 کے الیکشن میں عوام کے ووٹ کو لوٹنے کے بعد مسلسل عدالتی نظام پر ایک حملہ جاری ہے۔ چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم اسی حملے کی ایک کڑی ہے جسے اعظم تاررڑ اوراحسن بھون نے نون لیگ اور اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی “فیکٹری” میں مینوفیکچر کیا- اس کا مقصد تھا کہ ایک قاضی فائز عیسٰی کی جگہ کئی قاضی فائز پیدا کرو، ہر کورٹ میں ایک قاضی فائز بٹھاؤ اور پورا انصاف کا نظام دفن کر دو-
اقتدار پر قابض ناسمجھ لوگ جھوٹے نظام کو بچانے کے لیے ملک کے ہر علاقے میں پاکستانیوں پر ظلم کر رہے ہیں۔ چادر اور چار دیواری کو پامال کر دیا گیا ہے۔ سیاسی مخالفین، بالخصوص پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے کارکنوں کی اغواء کاری اور ان پر تشدد روزمرہ کا معمول بن چکا ہے۔
حضرت علی کا مشہور قول ہے: کفر کا نظام چل سکتا ہے، مگر ظلم کا نظام نہیں چل سکتا۔
پاکستان میں رائج ظلم، جبر اور نانصافی کا نظام بھی انشأللہ ذیادہ دیر نہیں چلے گا!
میری بہنوں نے مجھے قاسم اور سلیمان کے پہلے انٹرویو کے مندرجات اور انٹرویو کی پاکستانی عوام کی جانب سے بےحد پذیرائی اور پسندیدگی کے بارے میں بتایا جسے سن کر بہت خوشی ہوئی-
ملک میں اس وقت انسانی حقوق مکمل طور پر معطل ہیں۔ میرے ساتھ جیل میں غیر انسانی سلوک مسلسل جاری ہے۔ میرے بچوں سے کئی کئی ماہ میری بات نہیں کروائی جاتی- میری کتابیں تک نہیں پہنچنے دی جاتیں اور نہ ہی میرے ذاتی معالج تک رسائی دی جاتی ہے- یہ سب عدالتی احکامات اور قوانین کی مسلسل توہین ہے-
میں اپنے پارٹی لیڈرز، خواتین اور ورکرز کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جو اس وقت بھی قید و بند کی صعوبتیں برداشت کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ تمام افراد جو ناجائز فوجی عدالتوں کی وجہ سے جیل میں ہیں، وہ بہادری کا استعارہ ہیں۔”
