Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Important Conversation with Legal Team and Representatives of Media at Adiala Jail

“Today marks six weeks since November 26th, and many of our people are still missing. These individuals disappeared from D-Chowk in Islamabad, not from some remote tribal area. The government neither produces them in court nor takes any serious measures to recover them. This goes to show how serious the government is about our demands and negotiations. We have formed a committee today on the issue of missing persons, headed by senior lawyer, Qazi Anwar.
We strongly demand a transparent and independent investigation into the massacre on November 26th, where live bullets were fired at our people, injuring 64 and martyring 14 of them. Instead of conducting investigations, the victims are being harassed. For instance, our 17-year-old worker, Anees Shehzad Satti, from Kotli Sattian, was martyred, and his grieving family was harassed to withdraw their case. This is similar to May 9th (2023) when bullets were fired at us, 16 of our people were martyred, and unarmed, peaceful citizens were labeled terrorists. The sanctity of their homes was violated, innocent people were imprisoned, and their lives were ruined. My own house was vandalized. A transparent judicial commission to inquire into the tragedies of May 9th and November 26th is imperative. I will not let this matter be forgotten until the victims get justice!
My demands are legitimate and reasonable, but the government is not taking them seriously. I am not allowed to meet members of my party, which is my legal right. If the government does not form a judicial commission in the next meeting, we will not continue the negotiation process.
I strongly condemn the campaign against Bushra Khan. Whatever Bushra Bibi is doing, she is doing it for me personally. Distractions like the Sangjani rumors are created to divert attention from the real issues. I commend Bushra Khan for being successful in reaching D-Square with party workers and supporters. I urge members of my party to raise the issue of our missing persons at every platform.
There was a plan to impose a ten-year dictatorship in Pakistan, of which two years have already passed. Judges or police officers who become a party to oppression are rewarded with promotions here. Judge Humayun Dilawar, who gave an illegal verdict against me was promoted, while judges from Rawalpindi and Sargodha, who gave fair decisions, were dismissed. Such actions have obliterated merit and rule of law in the country.
Economic progress in the country can never happen as long as the current fascist system is in place. Economic prosperity requires investment, which is impossible without institutions adhering to their boundaries and responsibilities as defined by the Constitution. Increasing terrorism in the country is causing irreparable damage to investor confidence. Tragically, those responsible for addressing these issues are using all their resources and energy to corner our party. It is time to set aside personal egos and temporary gains and focus on the nation's development and prosperity.”

“26 نومبر کو آج چھ ہفتے ہو گئے ہیں ہمارے کئی لوگ ابھی تک گمشدہ ہیں ۔ یہ لوگ ڈی چوک اسلام آباد سے غائب کیے گئے ہیں کسی قبائلی علاقے سے نہیں۔ حکومت ان کو کسی عدالت میں پیش کر رہی ہے نہ ہی ان کو تلاش کرنے کے لیے کوئی سنجیدہ اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ اس سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ حکومت ہمارے مطالبات اور مذاکرات کو لے کر کتنی سنجیدہ ہے۔ ہم نے آج گمشدہ افراد کے معاملے پر کمیٹی بنا دی ہے جس کی سربراہی سینئیر وکیل قاضی انور کریں گے-
ہم پر زور مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں کہ 26 نومبر کو جو ہمارے لوگوں پر سیدھی گولیاں ماری گئیں ؛ 64 لوگوں کو زخمی اور 14 لوگوں کو شہید کیا گیا انکے قتل عام کی شفاف تحقیقات کی جائیں ۔ یہاں تحقیقات تو کیا ہونی ہیں الٹا انہی مظلوم افراد کو ہراساں کیا جا رہا ہے۔ کوٹلی ستیاں سے ہمارے 17 سالہ کارکن انیس شہزاد ستی کو شہید کیا گیا ۔ پھر اسکے غمزدہ خاندان کو ہراساں کیا گیا کہ وہ اپنا کیس واپس لیں۔ یہی سب کچھ نو مئی کو بھی کیا گیا تھا ۔جب ہم پر ہی گولیاں چلائی گئی تھیں ہمارے 16 لوگوں کو شہید کیا گیا اور پھر پر امن نہتی عوام کو ہی دہشتگرد بنا دیا گیا ۔ انکے گھروں کا تقدس پامال کیا گیا ؛ بے قصور افراد کو جیلوں میں ڈال کر انکی زندگیاں برباد کی گئیں۔ میرے گھر میں بھی توڑ پھوڑ کی گئی ۔ 9 مئی اور 26 نومبر پر شفاف جوڈیشل کمیشن بننا ناگزیر ہے۔ میں اس واقعے کو تب تک بھولنے نہیں دوں گا جب تک مظلوموں کو انصاف نہ مل جائے۔
میرے مطالبات جائز اور معقول ہیں لیکن حکومت ان پر سنجیدہ نہیں ۔ مجھے میری جماعت کے افرد سے ملوایا نہیں جاتا جو کہ میرا قانونی حق ہے ۔ اگر حکومت نے اگلی نشست میں جوڈیشل کمیشن کی تشکیل نہ کی تو ہم مذاکرات کے عمل کو آگے نہیں بڑھائیں گے۔
بشریٰ بی بی کے خلاف کمپئین کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتا ہوں ۔ بشریٰ بی بی جو کر رہی ہیں وہ میری ذات کے لیے کر رہی ہیں- سنجگانی جیسے شوشے چھوڑ کر اصل معاملات سے توجہ ہٹائی جاتی ہے ۔ ڈی چوک میں کارکنان کے ہمراہ پہنچ جانا بشری بی بی کی کامیابی ہے جس پر انکو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں ۔ میں اپنی پارٹی کے لوگوں کو تلقین کرتا ہوں کہ ہمارے مسنگ پرسنز کا معاملہ ہر سطح پر اٹھائیں ۔
پاکستان میں آمریت کا دس سالہ پلان لایا گیا تھا جس میں سے دو سال گزر چکے ہیں یہاں جو جج یا پولیس والا ظلم کا حصہ بنتا ہے اسکو ترقی دے دی جاتی ہے ہمایوں دلاور نے غیر قانونی فیصلہ دیا تو اسکو ترقی دے دی گئی دوسری جانب راولپنڈی ؛ سرگودھا کے ججز نے انصاف پر مبنی فیصلے دیے تو انکو گھر بھیج دیا گیا۔ ایسا کر کے ملک میں میرٹ اور قانون کی حکمرانی کو قتل کر دیا گیا ہے-
ملک میں موجود اس فسطائی نظام کے ہوتے ہوئے معاشی ترقی کا خواب کبھی بھی شرمندۂ تعبیر نہیں ہو سکے گا۔ معاشی خوشحالی کے لیے سرمایہ کاری ضروری ہے اور سرمایہ کاری ملک میں اداروں کے اپنی حدود و قیود میں رہتے ہوئے اپنی آئینی ذمہ داریاں پوری کئے بغیر ممکن نہیں۔ ملک میں بڑھتی دہشتگردی سرمایہ کاروں کے اعتماد کو ناقابل تلافی نقصان پہنچا رہی ہے۔ اور افسوسناک امر تو یہ کہ اس کے تدارک کے ذمہ داران کی ساری توانائیاں اور وسائل ہماری جماعت کو دیوار سے لگانے میں صرف ہو رہی ہیں۔ وقت آ گیا ہے کہ اپنی ذاتی اناؤں اور وقتی مفادات سے ہٹ کر ملکی ترقی اور قوم کی خوشحالی کا سوچا جائے۔
