Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Message – May 13th 2025
Illegally incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s conversation with his family at Adiala Jail today, in reference to India’s attack on Pakistan and the Pakistani nation’s resilient response.
“The recent escalation between Pakistan and India has once again proven that Pakistanis are a brave, proud, and dignified nation.
I have always said, "Mulk bhi mera, Fauj bhi meri" (this country is mine, and so is the army). Just as our soldiers defeated Modi on both aerial and ground fronts, the people of Pakistan—especially on social media—exposed and dismantled Modi and the RSS’s narrative at a global level.
By targeting innocent civilians such as children, women, the elderly, and civilian infrastructure in Pakistan, Modi displayed cowardice. Our forces responded with strength and precision. We stand in full solidarity with the families of both civilians and military personnel who were martyred in these cowardly attacks.
I pay tribute to the Pakistan Air Force and all our military personnel for their professionalism and outstanding performance. Unlike Modi, who targets civilians and public infrastructure, our forces successfully hit only the aircraft and installations directly involved in the attacks.
Narendra Modi harbors deep hatred for Pakistan. The fearless attitude shown by Pakistanis during this conflict must have only fueled his anger. He is likely furious and may attempt another false-flag operation, similar to what he orchestrated in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. We must stay alert and fully prepared. I had predicted this scenario back in 2019 as well. Modi will also try to inflict economic damage on Pakistan. In case of any new attack, the nation must remain united and ready.
During wartime, a swift response is absolutely vital. Wars are fought as much with nerves as with weapons—perhaps 60 percent of it depends on mental strength. That is why it is crucial to have leadership that enjoys the people’s trust and can make bold and timely decisions in the face of aggression.
In a state of war, the military needs public support more than ever. The morale of the nation becomes the strength of the armed forces. That is why I’ve consistently emphasized that we must not isolate our people, and we must breathe life back into our justice system
The Pakistani nation is facing both external and internal challenges. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has completely undermined our judicial system, and the country is now under an absolute dictatorship. Military trials of civilians being declared legal is a direct outcome of this amendment. Those who voted in favor of it in the assemblies were mere puppets, simply following orders.
In no democratic country in the world are citizens subjected to such mockery — where they are handed over to military courts simply for protesting. Such decisions bring international embarrassment to Pakistan.
Instead of punishing our youth in accusations related to the events of May 9th (2023), attention should be directed toward pressing internal and external issues, including those involving India. This is a time to unite our youth.
The young men sentenced to ten years by military courts are guilty of nothing more than exercising their right to protest. I have repeatedly said that the CCTV footage from May 9th (2023) must be released so the real culprits can be identified, and those guilty can be punished. It is an injustice to destroy the futures of our young people at the behest of an army officer.
Another consequence of the 26th Amendment is that judges are now reduced to the role of government employees, prevented from making independent decisions. A single individual dictates all verdicts to them — this marks the death of the judicial system. The false and fabricated cases against me are a result of this lack of judicial independence.
All cases filed against me, including the Al-Qadir Trust case, are baseless. Despite appointing handpicked judges, my appeals continue to be delayed. The day my cases are heard on merit, they will all be dismissed.
I have full confidence in Junaid Akbar. My priority is the movement and its organizational structure. My message for Junaid Akbar and all party officials is clear: focus your efforts on leading the movement."
پاک بھارت حالیہ کشیدگی نے ایک بار پھر ثابت کیا کہ پاکستانی ایک بہادر اور خوددار قوم ہیں۔
میں نے ہمیشہ کہا ہے کہ “فوج بھی میری ہے اور یہ ملک بھی میرا ہے”- جس طرح ہمارے جوانوں نے فضائی اور زمینی سرحدوں پر مودی کو شکست دی ویسے ہی پاکستانی عوام خصوصاً سوشل میڈیا نے مودی اور آر ایس ایس کے بیانیے کو دنیا بھر میں شکست دی-
مودی نے پاکستان میں سویلین بچوں، عورتوں، بزرگوں اور تنصیبات کو ٹارگٹ کر کے بزدلی کا مظاہرہ کیا جس کا ہماری فورسز نے بہترین جواب دیا- ہم ان بزدلانہ حملوں میں شہید ہونے والے سویلینز اور ملٹری آفیشلز کی فیملیز کے غم میں برابر کے شریک ہیں-
میں پاک فضائیہ سمیت تمام فوجی جوانوں کو پروفیشنلزم اور بہترین کارکردگی دکھانے پر خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے مودی کی طرح سویلنز اور سول تنصیبات کو ٹارگٹ کرنے کی بجائے پاکستان پر حملے میں شامل طیاروں اور تنصیبات کو کامیابی سے تباہ کر کے کامیابی حاصل کی-
نریندرمودی پاکستان سے سخت نفرت کرتا ہے اور دوران جنگ پاکستانیوں کے بے خوف رویے نے مودی کے غصے کو مزید ابھارا ہو گا۔ وہ سخت غصے میں ہو گا اور انتقام لینے کے لیے دوبارہ ویسا ہی فالس فلیگ کرنے کی کوشش کرے گا جیسا جموں کشمیر میں کیا، جس کے لیے ہمیں محتاط اور تیار رہنا ہو گا۔ میں 2019 میں بھی اس حوالے سے پیشنگوئی کر چکا تھا- مودی کی پوری کوشش ہو گی کہ پاکستان کو معاشی سطح پر بھی نقصان پہنچائے۔ کسی بھی نئے حملے کی صورت میں قوم کو تیار اور متحد رہنا ہو گا۔
دوران جنگ فوری ردعمل دینا انتہائی ناگزیر ہوتا ہے۔جنگیں 60 فیصد تک اعصاب سے لڑی جاتی ہیں اور اسی لیے ایسی لیڈر شپ کا ہونا انتہائی اہم ہے جسے قوم کی حمایت حاصل ہو اور جو فوری طور پر بڑے فیصلے کرنے اور کسی بھی حملے کا جواب دینے کی طاقت رکھتی ہو۔
حالت جنگ میں فوج کو عوام کی حمایت کی بہت ضرورت ہوتی ہے اور قوم کا مورال بہت اہمیت رکھتا ہے جو فوج کا سہارا بنتا ہے۔ اس لیے میں مسلسل اس بات پر زور دیتا آیا ہوں کہ ہمیں اپنے لوگوں کو "آئیسولیٹ" نہیں کرنا چاہیے اور نظام انصاف کو زندہ کرنا چاہیے
“پاکستانی قوم کو بیرونی اور اندرونی دونوں طرح کے چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے۔ چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم نے ہمارے انصاف کے نظام کا جنازہ نکال دیا ہے اور ملک اس وقت مکمل ڈکٹیٹر شپ میں جا چکا ہے- سویلینز کا ملٹری ٹرائل قانونی قرار دینا اسی ترمیم کا نتیجہ ہے۔ ایوانوں میں اس ترمیم کے حق میں ووٹ دینے والے تو صرف کٹھ پتلی تھے اور احکامات کی پاسداری کر رہے تھے۔
دنیا کی کسی جمہوریت میں اپنے شہریوں کے ساتھ ایسا مذاق نہیں ہوتا کہ انھیں احتجاج کرنے پر ملٹری کورٹس کے حوالے کر دیا جائے۔ اس طرح کے فیصلوں سے پاکستان کی جگ ہنسائی ہوتی ہے۔
نو مئی کے واقعات میں اپنے بچوں کو سزائیں دینے کے بجائے توجہ ہندوستان سمیت دیگر اندرونی و بیرونی مسائل پر مرکوز ہونی چاہیے۔ یہ وقت نوجوانوں کو متحد کرنے کا ہے۔
جن نوجوانوں کو ملٹری کورٹس سے دس ، دس سال کی سزائیں دلوائی گئی ہیں ان کا جرم صرف احتجاج کرنا ہے۔ بارہا کہتا ہوں کہ نو مئی کی سی سی ٹی فوٹیج نکلوائی جائے تا کہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ اصل مجرمان کون ہیں اور سزائیں کن کو ملنی چاہئیں ۔ یوں کسی آرمی افسر کے کہنے پر قوم کے نوجوانوں کے مستقبل کو برباد کرنا ظلم ہے۔
چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کا دوسرا نتیجہ یہ ہے کہ ججز اب صرف ایک سرکاری ملازم کی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں اور کوئی آزادانہ فیصلہ نہیں لے سکتے۔ ججز کو ایک فرد واحد سب فیصلے لکھ کر دیتا ہے جو کہ نظام انصاف کی موت ہے۔ میرے خلاف جھوٹے اور بوگس مقدمات اسی لیے چل رہے ہیں کیونکہ عدلیہ آزاد نہیں ہے۔
القادر ٹرسٹ کیس سمیت میرے خلاف بنائے گئے تمام کیسز بوگس ہیں اس لیے مرضی کے ججز لانے کے باوجود میری اپیلیں مسلسل التوا میں رکھی جا رہی ہیں- جس دن میرے مقدمات میرٹ پر سنے گئے سب کا خاتمہ ہو جائے گا۔
جنید اکبر پر مجھے پورا اعتماد ہے۔ میری ترجیح تحریک اور تنظیم سازی ہے اور میرا جنید اکبر سمیت تمام پارٹی عہدیداران کے لیے واضح پیغام ہے کہ وہ تحریک چلانے پر اپنی توجہ مرکوز رکھیں۔”
