Imran Khan arrested in another bogus GHQ attack case along with NAB cases.

Today, 158 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan.

He is persistently held in custody to distance himself from the public and the election campaign. Although he was granted bail yesterday in the cipher case, Imran Khan was re-arrested today in connection with fake GHQ attack. Imran Khan has consistently disapproved of political violence and has never supported arsonists. Despite his stance, apprehending him in such cases is highly disgraceful.

Imran Khan and his wife have been charged in the Toshakhana case.

Chairman Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, were indicted today in the Toshakhana NAB case by preventing the lawyers from entering the jail. Lawyer Intizar Hussain Panjutha tweeted, "Two main objectives underlie the confinement of Imran Khan's sub-trials and cases. The primary aim is to manage Imran Khan's public image and control his statements. Equally significant is the second purpose, which involves regulating the access of lawyers during jail hearings and court proceedings. All court proceedings within the prison are essentially makeshift and lack the principles of the rule of law, everything seems to be arbitrary. Despite the commission's responsibility to file the charge sheet, I managed to delay the process on two occasions by raising legal points. However, on the third appearance, I was stopped from entering after the indictment was filed. Similarly, today, the NAB court was supposed to submit the indictment, but it was halted due to legal complexities on several previous dates. Once again, my entry has been impeded, and indictment was done."

A Lahore High Court bench was established in response to Imran Khan's petition for the removal of his disqualification.

Lahore High Court formed a 5-member bench to hear the petition against Chairman Imran Khan's disqualification in the Toshakhana case. The larger bench will hear the application on January 12. It is stated in the application that the "Election Commission is an administrative body and cannot use judicial powers. The Election Commission de-seated Imran Khan from NA-55 in the Toshakhana case and then disqualified him for a one-sided election. The Election Commission had no legal authority to de-seat and disqualify. The court should annul the action of the Election Commission to disqualify him".

The decision against the rejection of Imran Khan's nomination papers reserved.

Both reserved decisions against the rejection of Imran Khan's nomination papers in Lahore and Mianwali will be announced tomorrow. The lawyers argued at both places that the returning officers could not stop Imran Khan from participating in the election under any law.

Nullifying Nawaz Sharif's disqualification was a part of the London plan, as disclosed by Imran Khan a year and a half ago.

Chairman Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan said while talking to the media, "To end the lifelong disqualification of Nawaz Sharif is part of the London plan. Our brother had told us a year and a half ago that everything was going according to the script under the London Agreement. Imran Khan upset everyone by writing an article in "The Economist". Someone needs to tell Mr. Solangi that Imran Khan has written seven books and hundreds of articles."

The Lahore High Court overturned the Election Commission's decision to block the publication of election survey results in the media.

The Lahore High Court issued a notable directive regarding digital and electronic media, lifting the prohibition on election public surveys. The Election Commission rescinded the survey restriction. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is leading in the election survey results so far.

Umar Dar presented in the local court of Sialkot.

Leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf Sialkot, Umar Dar, who was kidnapped from Lahore a few days ago, has been produced in the local court of Sialkot today. Umar Dar appeared in the court with a smiley face despite oppression. The only fault of Umar Dar and his family is loyalty to Imran Khan.

The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Abdullah Kahlon, was abducted from the airport last night. The hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court for the recovery of Abdullah Kahloon. Despite the orders of Chief Justice Amer Farooq, Abdullah Kahloon was not presented in the Islamabad High Court. The Additional Attorney General stated that Abdullah had left the airport after immigration. Islamabad Police or any agency has not found any custody record of Abdullah.

Inflation continues to rise daily, resulting in increased prices for vegetables and eggs.

Following a surge of over 50 rupees in chicken prices, a marginal decrease of seven rupees occurred. Meanwhile, egg prices continued to climb, reaching Rs. 390 per dozen. Conversely, affordable in Islamabad and Lahore markets experienced a rise in vegetable prices, with potatoes selling at Rs. 70 and onions at Rs. 200 per kg. Other vegetables witnessed a significant price hike as well.

Significant surge in the per kilogram cost of flour.

In Quetta, the cost of government-provided flour has risen by Rs. 33 per kilogram. In comparison to the previous year, the 20 kg bag has experienced a hike of 660 rupees, and the 100 kg bag has seen an increase of Rs. 3300. Government-regulated prices stand at Rs. 2460 for a 20 kg bag, Rs. 12300 for a 100 kg bag, and Rs. 6150 for a 50 kg bag of flour.
