The Peshawar High Court has withdrawn its injunction on the "bat" sign.

On the request of the Election Commission, a hearing was held today in the Peshawar High Court on the decision of the Tehreek-e-Insaf intra-party election. The court reserved its judgment and withdrew its stay order and the Election Commission's decision was reinstated.

According to the court order, the final decision on the "bat" mark will be taken by the divisional bench of Peshawar High Court on January 9. Speaking to the media after the verdict, Acting Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar said, "If you take away the "bat", the world will never accept your election. We will go to the Supreme Court against this decision.”

"We will contest the elections in every seat and will win, Insha'Allah", Imran Khan's message.

The lawyers of Founder Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan met him in Adiala Jail today. After the meeting, the lawyers said. "Today, we had a long meeting with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi. Alhamdulillah Mr. Khan is in good health and has high morale. Mr. Khan said that the nomination papers of about 700 of our candidates have been rejected illegally. I have never seen such a biased Election Commission in my life. We will contest elections on every seat and will win, Insha'Allah."

Cipher case hearing adjourned without any proceeding.

Today, 151 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan. Many cases against Imran Khan are being conducted simultaneously in Adiala Jail. One of these cipher cases was to be heard in Adiala Jail today. But the Islamabad High Court has stopped the trial of this case till January 11. Therefore, the hearing of the case was adjourned till January 8 without any action. The Supreme Court has already declared Imran Khan innocent in the cipher bail case.

Biased Election Commission indicts Imran Khan in the absence of his lawyers.

In Adiala Jail, the contempt case against Chairman Imran Khan was heard today. The Election Commission indicted Imran Khan in the absence of his lawyers. He denied all the allegations and refused to accept them. This case is clear proof of the Election Commission's bias against Imran Khan.

Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa advises Tehreek-e-Insaf to file complaints after the election.

Today, the Supreme Court heard a petition concerning contempt of court related to the level playing field. Lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa appeared on behalf of Tehreek-e-Insaf. Sardar Latif Khosa presented evidence on the bias of the Election Commission, Returning Officers and Police and snatching nomination papers from Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates in the court. On which Qazi Faez Isa said that you are wasting time. File your complaints after the elections. Sardar Latif Khosa also read the letter of the Chief Election Commissioner of Punjab to the court, in which the actions taken against Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates were mentioned. The court adjourned the hearing while issuing a notice to the IG and Advocate General Punjab.

Petition filed against rejection of Imran Khan's nomination papers.

The lawyers of Chairman Imran Khan have applied for the decision against rejection of his nomination papers from the NA-122 constituency. Diary number 309 has also been attached to the application. The hearing will be held on Friday. Lawyers hope that justice will be served, and Imran Khan's nomination papers will be approved.

Despite having bail, Iman Tahir was arrested by the court. Heavy police were deployed to apprehend Zartaj Gul as well.

The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Iman Tahir Sadiq, was arrested from outside the Peshawar High Court. The court granted transit bail. When Iman Tahir came out, people in civilian clothes abducted her and took her away to an unknown location. Zartaj Gul Wazir was present inside the court. The corridor bail was approved, but heavy police were deployed outside the court to abduct her the moment she walks out.

Umar Dar was not produced in court today while his daughter and mother kept waiting in the court.

The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Umar Dar, was abducted from Lahore a few days ago. Despite the court's order, he was not presented today. Talking to the media after the hearing, Umar Dar's daughter said, "If my father is not found, I will personally file a FIR against IG Punjab. The police who are supposed to protect us are engaged in kidnapping innocent citizens."

If the elections are not conducted clearly and transparently, it will also impact the IMF.

Barrister Gohar talks about the IMF issue, "I have neither met with the IMF officials nor given any statement. Our position is to conduct transparent elections. If not, it will affect everyone, including the IMF."

Sanam Javed submits another bail application.

Sanam Javed was transferred to jail on judicial remand yesterday in the case of burning the office of PML-N. She has submitted a bail application to the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court for bail.

She has been on bail in several cases before, but the police arrested her in a new case every time.

The inflation rate reached a high of 30%.

The aspiration for a decrease in inflation remained unfulfilled for the citizens. The prices of essential goods have soared, exacerbating the difficulties for the less affluent. In comparison to the previous year, vegetable prices in the country have surged by over 100 percent at the onset of the new year. As of the beginning of 2023, tomatoes, previously priced at Rs. 45 per kg, are now available at Rs. 120 per kg in 2024. Potatoes, once at Rs 50 per kg, have risen from Rs 80 to Rs 90, and ginger has jumped from Rs 500 to Rs 800. Additionally, onion prices have surged to Rs. 250 per kg. Other items such as gourd, previously Rs 60, now cost Rs 160; cauliflower, once Rs 120, now fetches Rs 200 to Rs 300; and green chilies have climbed from Rs 320.

LPG price hiked once again.

While citizens endure a lack of gas during severe cold, the price of domestic LPG cylinders has risen by 18 rupees and 52 paise. People are facing not only additional gas bills and load-shedding but also the added burden of increased LPG costs.
