2nd December 2023 News Headlines
A summary of today's important and breaking news regarding PTI and the country that the mainstream media of Pakistan will never show you.
"My faith is only in Allah. I do not fear any human." Imran Khan's historic conversation with the judge.
Today, 119 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He has shown phenomenal courage in these 119 days. The same courage was seen today at the hearing of the cipher case in Adiala Jail when Imran Khan addressed the judge of the special court and said these historic words.
"As the prime minister I ordered an inquiry into the cipher case. Powerful people are involved in it. Efforts are being made to save them. I do not fear anyone except Allah. We have been locked up like goats and the criminal Nawaz Sharif has been brought back from abroad."
Despite the decision in the Cipher Prison Trial, access to media and family members was refused.
The Islamabad High Court judge and Special Court had ordered in the previous hearing that the trial of the cipher case would start again in the jail itself. During the trial, family members, media and the general public will be allowed to come, but lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha tweeted what happened today, "First we were kept outside for a long time, then 7 out of the 14 lawyers were allowed to go in. Unknown persons were seated in the middle in the name of the general public. Three journalists were allowed to enter after the hearing ended. Is this an open trial? We do not accept such a trial".
Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa's disappointing attitude on Imran Khan's letter.
Chairman Imran Khan wrote a letter to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa two days ago, which his office refused to accept. Then, the office said to send it by post. A press release was issued by the Chief Justice today when the letter was sent by post. After reading the press release issued by the Chief Justice in response to Imran Khan's letter, it would be correct to say that in the ongoing operation against the head and workers of the country's largest political party, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court seeing everything and knowingly, the door of justice has been closed. History witnessed that Imran Khan had done his job by writing a letter. History is now aware, and the ball is in the Chief Justice’s court."
Bail for Imran Khan due to allegations of non-compliance is being contested in fake cases
Petitions against the cancellation of the bail of Chairman Imran Khan in the cases including the Jinnah House attack and other May 9 cases are set for hearing. A two-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam will hear the case on December 4. The registrar's office released the cause list.
"Cipher case is an international matter. If justice is not served here, we will file a case against Donald Lu in America". Aleema Khan.
Chairman Imran Khan's sister, Aleema Khan, said, after the Adiala Jail hearing today, "The provisions imposed on Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood can also lead to the death penalty. It is an international case. By taking the name of Donald Lu, the case becomes international. Donald Lu had secretly sent the cipher to General Bajwa, but it came to the Prime Minister. Where is General Bajwa? He is answerable in this matter. If justice is not served in Pakistan, Donald Lu will be sued in America. Imran Khan said that by removing the chairman under the London Agreement, they are trying to weaken PTI. Nawaz Sharif's cases are being terminated. His cases were settled in a day. Fugitive Nawaz Sharif is getting VIP treatment meanwhile, two of our prisoners were placed in isolation."
Imran Khan is continuously being deprived of justice.
Lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha tweeted, "Nawaz Sharif's third appeal has also been fixed on the 7th, but the decision on Imran Khan's request is reserved. At the request of Imran Khan, the hearing was first delayed, then the decision was saved, and he was excluded from the intra-party election. The whole nation will not forget this".
PTI conducts intra-party election.
Despite reservations about the biased decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan, the process of holding intra-party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been completed, as per schedule. So, the biased election commission cannot do any more mischief.
