29th September 2023 News Headlines

A summary of today's important and breaking news regarding PTI and the country that the mainstream media of Pakistan will never show you.

  • Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been illegally detained for 55 days today. One reason behind his unlawful detention is that Imran Khan is the only Muslim leader in recent history who presented the case of the honour of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at international forums and made efforts to unite the Muslim world. Imran Khan, unlike other leaders, did not compromise his conscience and religion. That's why today he is kept in such a small jail cell where there is no room to even walk, yet Imran Khan's spirits remain high.
  • Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has completely rejected the JIT report. The joint investigation team's report is a link in the series of state conspiracies against Chairman Imran Khan and Tehreek-e-Insaaf. It is clear from irrefutable evidence that the events of May 9 have nothing to do with Tehreek-e-Insaf, especially Chairman Imran Khan. The fabricated report of the joint investigation team is a shameful attempt to shield the real perpetrators of the May 9 incidents. Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf stood in the Supreme Court after his arrest and condemned the events of May 9, which the court made part of its verdict.
  • Imran Khan's lawyers met him yesterday. Upon coming out, they conveyed Imran Khan's message to the nation: "Mr. Khan said that the only solution for stability within the country is fair, transparent, and impartial elections according to the constitution, which should be held within 90 days. Mr. Khan mentioned that when he was the Prime Minister, he attended a UN meeting once and joined through video link twice, as it incurs a significant cost. He also questioned where the dollar has reached, how expensive it has become, and criticized the caretaker Prime Minister for misusing the people's tax money on his trips. When the elections happen, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will win with a clear majority because the nation knows who are the ones looting the country and who are trying to save it."

  • Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, tweeted, "Before meeting Mr. Khan, we were made to wait at the gate for a long time and were surprised to see that we were searched like terrorists. We were not allowed to bring pens and paper, and the search team took our pens and files, keeping them with them. When a lawyer meets his client, he takes a brief and makes notes. Some things are discussed regarding the case and some questions are asked to the client. Nowhere in the law is it written that a lawyer cannot take instructions from his client."
  • On the blessed day of the Prophet's ﷺ (Peace and Blessings be upon him) birthday today, a mother appeals to the Chief Justice that it has been 20 days since my son Usman Dar was taken away. I have no knowledge of where my son has been taken. As a mother, I appeal to the Chief Justice to bring back my son. I hope that the judiciary will hear my message and help me. I will be grateful to them and will pray for them always.
  • Rana Sanaullah has arranged to forcefully gather people to welcome Nawaz Sharif. He has organized a plan to gather people this time by not giving them biryani or meat-filled naan but by collecting people's phone numbers and intimidating them with Geo Fencing. The question is that they can gather people together this way. But can such an app be allowed to be built Pakistan? Or are these people sitting and planning all this with the help of state agencies?
  • In Sahiwal, the district administration removed banners of Imran Khan due to his image on the banner on the occasion of Prophet's birthday [Eid-e-Milad un Nabi]. The citizens had put up Imran Khan's pictures because Imran Khan was the only Muslim ruler who raised his voice against Islamophobia and told the whole world that Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and Blessings be upon him) lives in the hearts of the Muslims.
  • For the past 11 days, the Caretaker Prime Minister who is on trips abroad using public tax money while giving an interview to BBC regarding missing persons in Baluchistan said, "There are 50 missing persons in Baluchistan, while in occupied Kashmir, there are 8000 missing persons." The anchor had to say, "I am talking to the Prime Minister of Pakistan right now, not the Indian Prime Minister."
  • Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had won with a significant margin in the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan's constituency Astor, but the Election Commission refused to announce the result. In response, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf staged a protest and appealed to the court. Finally, the Election Commission has issued the official notification, confirming PTI's victory.
  • Contrary to the false claims of the previous PDM government and the current caretaker government, the IMF has once again clarified that we suggested imposing taxes on the rich while ensuring relief for the poor. However, Pakistani authorities are doing the opposite by imposing taxes on the poor and giving relief to the rich.
  • The district administration in Lahore has increased the prices of essential food items. According to official rates, after an increase of 100 rupees, the price of mutton and beef is now 1600 rupees and 800 rupees per kilogram, respectively. Basmati rice, after a 5-rupee increase, is now 315 rupees per kilogram, while chana dal, after a 10-rupee increase, is now 225 rupees per kilogram. Masoor dal, after a 50-rupee increase, is now 320 rupees per kilogram, whereas dal mash, after a 20-rupee increase, is now 530 rupees per kilogram.
