Imran Khan's message to Qazi Faez Isa and the nation.

Imran Khan has appealed to Chief Justice Faez Isa, urging him to take up the pending appeal in the Supreme Court linked to Judge Dilawar's suspended judgment. He has also requested an investigation into the cases of numerous innocent individuals detained in connection with the events of May 9. Imran Khan has specifically asked the Chief Justice to mandate the release of CCTV footage, presenting it live to the entire nation, and conduct a thorough inquiry to bring justice to the true culprits of the May 9 tragedy.

Furthermore, Imran Khan has said that restricting the movement and speech of individuals by enforcing Section 144 prevents them from leaving their homes. However, he emphasizes that voting is a constitutional right for every citizen, urging the public to exercise this right on February 8. He has questioned the Election Commission about the nature of an election that allows candidates from one side to participate, strip them of their party symbols and confine them to their homes. Imran Khan insists that all candidates have the right to engage in their election campaigns on Sundays.

Appellate bench appointed in Supreme Court on verdict against military courts.

Appeals on the verdict against the military courts are scheduled for hearing in the Supreme Court. Next week, a 6-member larger bench headed by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood will hear the case. Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Aminuddin, Justice Muhammad Ali, Justice Hasan Azhar, Justice Musrat Hilali and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan are included in the 6-member bench. The Supreme Court had given the decision by a ratio of 5/1, but Justice Musrat Hilali disagreed.

Parvez Elahi finally got permission to contest elections.

In response to the objections raised on Parvez Elahi's nomination papers, Justice Athar Manullah expressed, "Interestingly, all of this is unfolding in an election featuring just one party. Let's not complicate elections unnecessarily. The Returning Officer's role is not to create hurdles. Accountability should be in the hands of the people, not solely the Election Commission. The rights of the people are at stake. Allow the citizens of the country to determine the outcome," emphasized Justice Athar Minullah.

Another virtual power show of Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Tehreek-e-Insaf has declared the inaugural virtual convention featuring its candidates on Saturday, January 28. During this virtual gathering, Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates will deliver brief speeches, and attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions to their respective candidates.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi was awarded prisoner number 805 by the captain.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the vice-captain was given the honour of prisoner number 805 by Imran Khan. Imran Khan has said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been loyal to me, so he should be called prisoner number 805.

Along with this, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said in a special message from jail. "I am in prison, so why was my house raided, and why have eight of my employees been arrested and taken away? He has also appealed to the nation to exercise their constitutional right on February 8".

Cipher case hearing adjourned till tomorrow.

Today, the hearing of the cipher case in Adiala Jail was adjourned till tomorrow without proceeding. The court adjourned the hearing after Imran Khan's lawyer did not appear due to dental surgery.

Can Murad Saeed and Hammad Azhar also be eligible to contest elections?

In today's Supreme Court session, a bench comprising Justice Athar Minullah, Mansoor Ali Shah, and Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel proclaimed that barring someone from participating in elections on the grounds of being an absconder is not permissible. Based on this principle, PTI leader Umar Aslam has granted permission to contest the election today. The court emphasized that participating in elections is a fundamental right.

Challenging the Election Commission, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah asked, "Is there any provision stating that a fugitive cannot contest the election? Show me where it is written?"

Justice Athar Minullah said, "Elections should be determined by the people, not by the Election Commission."

The Supreme Court approved the nomination papers of Sanam Javed and Shaukat Basra.

The Supreme Court accepted the nomination papers of Sanam Javed and Shaukat Basra. The Election Commission directed the inclusion of the names of Sanam Javed and Shaukat Basra on the ballot paper.

"A candidate can also allocate a joint account for election", court.

Sanam Javed is a candidate from NA 119, 120, and PP 150.

Shaukat Basra is a candidate from NA 163 Bahawalnagar.

Today, Chief Justice Faez Isa dismissed the nomination papers of Arif Abbasi, a Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate, solely because he did not secure bail in two criminal cases. Furthermore, the sentence imposed on Imran Khan in the case with Judge Dilawar has been halted. Imran Khan has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. However, the Chief Justice has not yet scheduled its appointment.
