25th December 2023 News Headlines

A summary of today's important and breaking news regarding PTI and the country that the mainstream media of Pakistan will never show you.

The leader who fought for the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam is illegally in prison.

Today is the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. After the death of Quaid-e-Azam, Imran Khan was the first leader who understood the ideology of the Islamic welfare state of Quaid-e-Azam in a real sense and tried to implement it in the country. Whether there is an ideology on the rights of minorities or Israel and Kashmir, Imran Khan always stood by the position of Quaid-e-Azam. For this reason, Jinnah’s soldiers have been imprisoned in Jinnah's country.

Imran Khan was denied participation in the funeral of his maternal uncle.

Today, 142 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan is not convicted in any case at this time but is in custody during the investigation of NAB cases. Imran Khan's uncle, Javed Zaman Khan, passed away yesterday, upon which Imran Khan's sister demanded the government release Imran Khan so he could attend the funeral. However, the rulers feared the popularity of Imran Khan and did not release him. In his tenure, Imran Khan released Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on immediate parole to attend the funeral of Kulsoom Nawaz despite being convicted criminals.

Despite facing fascism, PTI remains the top candidate to have submitted their nomination papers.

In the last four days, all the candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf, whether women or senior politicians, submitted their nomination papers across the country despite facing challenges from fascist elements. The 2434 candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf submitted nomination papers for 859 seats across the country. The candidates assert that the submission of this considerable number of nomination papers is not to secure tickets but rather to demonstrate our united support for our leader, Imran Khan.

Tehreek-e-Insaf will approach the Peshawar High Court tomorrow to reclaim the "bat" symbol.

Spokesperson Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said, "Tomorrow, we plan to approach the Peshawar High Court to reclaim the election symbol of the "bat." The petition has been prepared, and actions will be undertaken to expedite its hearing. The petition seeks the annulment of the Election Commission's decision, citing it as illegal. The withdrawal of the election symbol at the behest of an unrelated individual is deemed as a violation of the law."

Following the London Plan, the Election Commission has started rigging.

After withdrawing the election symbol of the "bat" from Tehreek-e-Insaf, the Election Commission has started the implementation of the last part of the London plan to stop Tehreek-e-Insaf from participating in the elections as a party. Tehreek-e-Insaf is removed from the scrutiny list as a party. This attitude of the Election Commission against the biggest party in the country is an insult to the people, not just Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The Chief Election Commissioner of Punjab also spoke on the fascism against Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates.

A letter from the Provincial Election Commissioner of Punjab to the Chief Secretary of Punjab highlights the obstruction of PTI candidate paper submissions across all districts. Instances of police mistreatment are reported, with ROs unable to adhere to legal procedures. ROs associated with provincial government departments and bureaucracy continued to follow orders from the Provincial government rather than the Election Commission. Despite multiple notifications to the chief secretary's office, no action has been taken.

The police officer who arrested Imran Khan bullied the doctors, staff and patients in the hospital.

According to police sources, the DIG Organized Crime Unit, Captain (Rtd) Liaqat Ali Malik's father, was undergoing treatment in a private hospital for a few days. The retired captain engaged in a heated exchange with medical professionals today. Subsequently, the retired captain demonstrated his influence by summoning armed policemen, who ransacked the hospital. Both staff and patients found themselves in a hostage situation. The digital video recorder (DVR) was confiscated, and the doctors endured distressing treatment.

A worker of Tehreek-e-Insaf has been formally charged with the theft of a cow.

A worker of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Babar Gujjar, was arrested once more, this time on allegations of cow theft. Despite a 30-day detention under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO), upon his release, he faced a subsequent arrest related to the cow theft charge, leading to his return to jail.

Uncontrollable police continue to vandalize the houses of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders.

Brigadier (R) Rahat Amanullah Bhatti, a former member of the National Assembly from Tehreek-e-Insaf representing NA-113, experienced an unwarranted intrusion at his residence in Model Town. A substantial police force conducted an illegal raid, breaching the sanctity of his home. The police went to the extent of damaging the doors, windows, kitchen equipment, room doors, furniture, and more during the operation. His sole offence appears to be his unwavering loyalty to Imran Khan.

The electricity crisis has increased nationwide.

Due to the destruction caused by PDM and unconstitutional caretaker governments, the people are suffering from gas and electricity load shedding in winter. Despite the reduced demand for electricity, the shortfall has reached almost five thousand megawatts. On the other hand, electricity and gas prices are increasing regularly.
