Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, granted bail in the cipher case. Supreme Court dismisses the case.
Today, 139 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan. He was illegally imprisoned in the cipher case since August 15, and the Supreme Court of Pakistan granted him bail today. During the hearing, the judges also raised important legal points on the legality of this case. Acting Chief Justice Sardar Tariq Masood raised questions, "If the cipher was lost, why didn't Shahbaz Sharif tell it in 2 meetings of the Security Council. He held a Security Council meeting on the base of which document? Why was Azam Khan silent for a month? Did Azam Khan go to the northern regions? The death penalty is not applicable in this case".
Hearing of application against cipher in-camera trial adjourned without action.
In the Islamabad High Court, a hearing was held on the petition against the in-camera cipher trial under Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb. Because the Supreme Court was busy with the Cipher FIA prosecutors, the hearing on Imran Khan's petition against the in-camera trial in the Islamabad High Court was postponed till December 28.

Today, Chairman Imran Khan’s lawyers submitted his nomination papers in his native constituency, Mianwali. Apart from Mianwali, Imran Khan will also contest from Lahore and Islamabad. Last night, Imran Khan's lawyer was detained in Adiala Jail along with Imran Khan's nomination papers. But, due to the timely action of the lawyers, the lawyer was recovered.

"As the election draws near, you are heading to Adiala Jail to conduct hearings. This conduct is not expected from you, your focus should be on overseeing the elections." Justice Athar Minullah's dialogue with Election Commission officials.
"If no one trusts you, there are reasons for it. Things are happening in front of everyone. Your conduct is proving that there is no level playing field. Everyone saw what happened with Usman Dar's mother. What is the caretaker government doing?
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said, "What did you do about the complaints of not being allowed to submit the nomination forms? The Election Commission is a constitutional body, you should resolve the complaints and ensure a level playing field."
Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates faced ongoing severe oppression during the submission of their nomination papers.
Like the last 2 days, the police persisted in displaying excessive authoritarianism against Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates nationwide. In Gujarat, the Returning Officer declined to accept nomination papers from Chaudhry Moonis Elahi's mother and the son of former MPA Salim Sarwar Joda. The lawyer submitting former PTI MNA Mian Shabbir Ali Qureshi's papers was arrested outside the returning officer's office. Senator Ejaz Chaudhry's nomination papers were confiscated, leading to the arrest of his nephew, Atif Chaudhry and three associates. Dr Ayesha Nazir Jutt's nomination papers for NA 156 Borewala Vihari were also seized. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Hafiz Ammar Yasir's legal representatives, proposers, and supporters faced arrests upon attempting to submit papers.
The returning officers appointed by Chief Justice Isa are afraid of Tehreek-e-Insaf women.
Before Dr. Yasmeen Rashid's nomination papers submission, her husband was apprehended from RO's office. In an unusual turn of events, Rehana Imtiaz-ud-din Dar, the lawyer for Dar’s mother, was present in the returning officer’s office when the Returning Officer abruptly left his seat. Meanwhile, Khawaja Muhammad Asif's papers were successfully collected. At the gate of the RO office, Parvez Elahi's wife, Qaisara Elahi, was halted. Qaisara Elahi informed the media, "Nomination papers have been collected from the opposition candidate, my nephew Salik Hussain, along with the official protocol."
Simultaneously, in the Gujarat DC office, the wallet of Shujaat Hussain's sister, Samira Elahi, was seized, and she was allegedly abducted by unknown individuals.
Police brutality at Tehreek-e-Insaf's Wazirabad Worker's Convention.
Ahead of the PTI rally in Wazirabad, police cordoned off all roads leading to the convention venue. There was a substantial police presence in the village, and 12 individuals were taken into custody. Police demolished and Destroyed the houses of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates throughout the night.

He tweeted, "My family home has been surrounded by the police, children and women are not being allowed to leave the house."
Police forcibly entered the residence of another leader, Osama Mela. Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sardar Rashid Tufail's house in Kot Radha Kishan was also targeted and vandalized by the police. The police raided PTI leader Saeed Bhali's house and camp in Sialkot, destroying the camp and tortured the employees. Simultaneously, the police continued vandalizing the homes of numerous other candidates and workers. While the Courts and the Election Commission remained entirely silent.

The Lahore High Court has issued a directive concerning Tayyaba Raja's nomination papers. Sanam Javed, who has been enduring an unlawful imprisonment of seven and a half months, has now officially submitted nomination papers against Maryam Nawaz. About Tayyaba Raja's nomination papers, the court has instructed jail authorities to endorse them.
Sui Northern imposed additional charges of billions of rupees on consumers.
Sui Northern Gas has imposed additional monthly fixed charges on consumers, amounting to billions of rupees. As reported by private TV, OGRA has discreetly permitted the collection of these fixed charges, which have been included in the November gas bills. This move will place a financial burden of 60 to 70 billion rupees on consumers.
