Request for further physical remand of Imran Khan by NAB in Toshakhana case rejected.
Today, 133 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan is arrested in Cipher, Al-Qadir Trust Case and Tosha Khana NAB Case. Tosha Khana's NAB case was heard in Adiala Jail today. Chairman Imran Khan was presented in the court in Adiala Jail on completion of a 2-day physical remand. Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing. NAB requested another 3-day physical remand, which the court rejected and transferred Imran Khan to judicial remand. Imran Khan's lawyers will now be able to file a bail application in this case.
Imran Khan declared the news of February 8 as election day, auspicious.
Chairman Imran Khan met his lawyers in Adiala Jail today. After the meeting, the lawyers said," Imran Khan had declared the February 8 election propitious. Alhamdulillah, his health is good, and he is in high spirits as always".
Tehreek-e-Insaf's successful worker's convention in Pishin despite the fascism of the administration.
The first result of Justice Qazi Faez Isa's decision yesterday was seen in Pishin today. On the directive of the returning officer (DC Pashin) in the Pashin district, the stage prepared for the Tehreek-e-Insaf Worker's Convention was dismantled, and the chairs were removed. Nevertheless, undeterred by these actions, the workers and provincial leadership initiated the convention by sitting on the ground. The sizable attendance turned the Pishin Convention into a lively gathering reminiscent of a jalsa.
Tehreek-e-Insaf cannot be put in the dock.
Tehreek-e-Insaf caretaker chairman Barrister Gohar arrived in Adiala Jail today to meet founder chairman Imran Khan and told the media. "Tehreek Insaf cannot be put in the dock. Strict measures are being taken. In our petition, there was a request that the returning officers should be taken from the judiciary. Only the Supreme Court can tell why they think we want to derail democracy."
Election Commission's open lies before the Supreme Court.
Last night, Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa conducted an emergency hearing in the Supreme Court regarding the Election Commission's application against the Lahore High Court's decision. However, the proceeding appeared one-sided as no lawyer from Tehreek-e-Insaf was present. When female lawyer Mashal Yousafzai attempted to speak, Justice Isa accused her of contempt of court and instructed her to sit.
The Election Commission claimed that the Judiciary refused to provide officers in February, but when queried in July, the Judiciary responded in August, stating that it would address the matter at the scheduled time. The Commission's misrepresentation was evident, as it incorrectly stated applying on the 12th when the application was submitted on the 6th. Additionally, the Election Commission erroneously asserted that the DC and others had changed, while, in reality, they continue to adhere to the PDM's directives.

The prices of 19 items, including sugar, have increased.
Recent data indicates a surge in the prices of various items, including sugar, pulses, and eggs, over the past week. The cost of sugar per kilogram has risen from 135 rupees to 143 rupees 43 paise. Additionally, eggs now cost Rs 8.03 per dozen, Moong dal is priced at Rs 3.36 per kilogram, and onions are at Rs. 1.95 per kilogram. Similarly, there have been increases in the prices of wheat flour, firewood, and beef.

For the past several weeks, the price of petrol has been continuously decreasing in the global market, but the caretaker government has not reduced the prices. After intense public pressure, the caretaker government has reduced it by 14 rupees. When the prices in the global market were at a record high, Prime Minister Imran Khan was providing petrol to the public at only 150 rupees per litre.
