"I will prefer death over slavery. Tell my nation I will not bow down to anyone, but Allah". Imran Khan
Today, 159 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan.
Imran Khan, while talking informally to journalists in Adiala Jail today, said, "Slaves have no future. Democracy and the rule of law go hand in hand. I think death is better than slavery. I consider slavery as a shirk. I emerge from one legal matter, only to find myself entangled in another case. All the laws were abolished by force. Amjad Khan is in the ICU. It is extreme. This has never happened in the history of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz are certified money launderers. In August 2022, during discussions about regime change in meetings, General Bajwa instructed me and Shah Mehmood Qureshi to remain silent, assuring that we would secure a 2/3rd majority. He warned that if we didn't comply, we would be limited to 30 seats, and legal cases would be fabricated against us, urging us to accept submission. And about rumours that I am shedding tears in jail. I want to clarify that if I had cried, I would have surrendered long ago. I am prepared to lay down my life for the freedom of this nation. Nawaz Sharif and Zardari received bulletproof vehicles from Tosha Khana. Nawaz Sharif bought a bulletproof car for six lakhs. Zardari took three vehicles. His Tosha Khana cases are closed because he bowed down. What we are experiencing is unprecedented for any political party. If I can't contest the election, I will go to the Supreme Court."

Tehreek-e-Insaf has lodged a petition in the Peshawar High Court regarding the non-issuance of the bat as an election symbol, urging the court to take contempt of court action against the Election Commission. The contempt petition against the Election Commission is slated for a hearing in the Peshawar High Court tomorrow. In a trial involving twenty witnesses, there was an attempt to record all testimonies on the same day. Today, four witnesses were recorded, even though the case could not proceed. There is an apparent desire to expedite the punishment without a definitive decision on this matter. Following today's proceedings, the case has been adjourned until tomorrow.

The judicial system has become a mockery.
Aleema Khan, the sister of Chairman Imran Khan, remarked, "Once bail is granted in one case, another one is swiftly prepared to ensure Khan remains in custody. It's evident they are not permitting his release. Various pretexts are being employed to detain him, making a mockery of the judicial system."
The Election Commission openly came against Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The Election Commission has failed miserably in proving its impartiality. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declined a meeting with the Tehreek e Insaf delegation. Challenging the Peshawar High Court's decision in the Supreme Court and actively becoming a party in the case serve as additional evidence that the Election Commission is perceived as a tool aiding the PML-N by singling out Tehreek-e-Insaf. Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will hear the petition against the decision of the Peshawar High Court in the Supreme Court tomorrow.
