Chairman Imran Khan gives a message to the nation.

Chairman Imran Khan gave a message from jail to the entire nation that the nation should prepare for the election. “All my political struggle has been peaceful and for the supremacy of the constitution and law. We only want the rule of law. My message to the entire nation in preparation for the upcoming elections is that they should not take the law into their hands in any way. Remain peaceful and continue the political struggle.”

Access to the jail was denied to the lawyers, media, and family.

Today, 128 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The courts either refrain from adjudicating the case against Imran Khan or delay the verdict after the hearing. If the reserved judgments are released, authorities fail to execute them. Today, despite the Islamabad High Court and Special Court's orders, lawyers, media, and Chairman Imran Khan's family were prevented from entering Adiala Jail. Conversely, Chairman Imran Khan's legal representatives have contested the special court's December 4 order mandating indictment, and the case is currently under consideration in the Islamabad High Court.

Judgement reserved in the Toshakhana case.

Today, The Islamabad High Court reserved its decision on Chairman Imran Khan's plea to suspend the sentence in the Tosha Khana criminal case. In this case, if Imran Khan's application is accepted, the pronouncement of his disqualification will likewise be deferred.

Imran Khan granted bail in terrorism cases.

Chairman Imran Khan's interim bail has been approved today in three November cases. Even after seven months, the police could not present any evidence in the courts, due to which Imran Khan's bail was granted after seven months.

A New low! The Iddat case was declared admissible.

To break Imran Khan, his enemies are attacking his family members. In this regard, the session court of Islamabad today gave a hearing to the worst case registered against Imran Khan and his wife. Notices of December 14 have been issued to Imran Khan and his wife.

The Election Commission's attempt to withhold the election symbol of the bat from Tehreek-e-Insaf was thwarted.

Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, tweeted, "Peshawar High Court reversed the conspiracy to take away the "bat" sign from us. The judge has stopped the election commission from taking any action against PTI intra-party elections and has given an order to release the election schedule. The mark of the bat belongs to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. It is and will remain the PTI symbol, Insha'Allah.”

The worst fascism against Khadijah Shah continues. Quetta police re-arrested her.

Khadijah Shah, who protested for her rights, has been subjected to the worst fascism for the past seven months. Despite being granted bail by the courts, Khadijah Shah was apprehended by the Punjab government. Subsequently, the government rescinded the detention notification and transferred her into the custody of the Quetta police. The terrorism court also granted corridor remand to the Quetta police, and the Lahore High Court proved ineffective. When will the Chief Justice, cognizant of his constitutional duties, intervene? Must the daughters of the country endure such injustices?

Is the Supreme Court that is silent on the issue of fascism in the country now leaning towards lifting Nawaz Sharif's lifelong disqualification?

The Supreme Court has initiated measures to potentially lift the lifelong disqualification of fugitive Nawaz Sharif. Noting discrepancies in the amendment of the Election Act and judicial decisions on lifelong disqualification, the Supreme Court has directed the Judges Committee to address the matter before the Larger Bench. The case is scheduled for a hearing in January 2024.

Nawaz-League worker Farhad Ali Shah was appointed the Prosecutor General of Punjab by the expired caretaker government.

Farhad Shah was appointed as the special prosecutor for the cases dated May 9. His responsibility was to file baseless charges against innocent PTI members and hinder their bail requests. Despite the PML-N exercising substantial influence over the caretaker government in Punjab, the Election Commission remains inactive.

PPP's rally in Lahore was as cold as the weather.

Yesterday, the attempt by the People's Party to organize a Jalsa in Lahore faced outright rejection from the public.  There was no police interference or crackdown, despite the crowd during the speeches being smaller than a parking space. The incident underscored that Lahore unequivocally aligns itself with Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran Khan.

Gas is likely to become more expensive.

The Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revealed the possibility of more expensive gas in the country. Chairman Ogra Masroor Khan heard the issue of the gas tariff increase. Sui Northern has again demanded a 131% hike in gas rates. Chairman Ogra said that the position of all the stakeholders has been heard. The next hearing will be held in Peshawar, after which recommendations will be sent to the government.

Increase in prices of urea fertilizer before fertilization in wheat crops.

When the time came to apply fertilizer for the wheat crop, the prices started to rise in a week. The price of a bag of urea fertilizer increased to Rs 449. A bag of urea is available now for Rs 5,100.
