Tehreek-e-Insaf is entitled to the election symbol of "Bat". Peshawar High Court orders.

“The Election Commission's decision is illegal. The Election Commission did not have the authority to decide. The Election Commission should issue the PTI certificate on the website as PTI is entitled to bat election symbol.” Peshawar High Court issued a short-written decision containing two pages.

Imran Khan was investigated in 12 cases regarding May 9 false flag operation.

Today, 158 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan.

Imran Khan will be produced tomorrow in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Adiala Jail. Imran Khan was arrested in 12 cases under May 9th false flag operation. The police investigation team interrogated Imran Khan for two and a half hours in the jail today.

Imran Khan's bail application in NAB cases was rejected.

Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Intizar Hussain Panjutha, tweeted. "The arguments for Imran Khan's bail in the Al-Qadir and Tosha Khana cases were presented on our behalf nearly three weeks ago. However, the proceedings faced delays due to occasional health issues on the prosecutor's part and the scheduling of subsequent dates. After three weeks, Judge Bashir rendered a decision that seemed predictable from the outset. There are plans to contest the verdict in the High Court, asserting that these are baseless cases lacking supporting evidence".

Returning Officer's decision to reject Imran Khan's nomination papers stays.

Imran Khan faced disqualification from contesting the election in Mianwali following a similar rejection in Lahore, as affirmed by the Election Tribunal's decision. This development raises concerns, as a prominent leader of the country is barred from participating in the electoral process. In contrast, efforts are seemingly underway to pave the way for Nawaz Sharif, a figure disqualified for life and deemed a national criminal, to potentially become the prime minister.

Barrister Gohar said in a media talk. "I extend my congratulations to the entire nation, PTI workers, and candidates on the historic decision by the Peshawar High Court that has successfully reinstated the symbol of the "bat." The symbol, embodying the aspirations of the nation, is now restored as -- "Bat." Tomorrow, we are set to announce the distribution of tickets, with candidates being fielded in each constituency."

Lawyers outside Peshawar High Court celebrated after Tehreek-e-Insaf got back the "bat" sign. The workers congratulated each other. Apart from the Peshawar High Court, people across the country expressed great joy in getting back the symbol of the "bat”.

Iddat marriage case hearing was postponed.

According to Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, the hearing of the Nikah case has been postponed till January 15. Baseless and uncivilized cases are being orchestrated against him in an attempt to break him. Such instances are unprecedented in Islamic history, lacking any comparable precedent.

Maryam Nawaz fears defeat against Sanam Javed.

Sanam Javed faced the rejection of her nomination papers, allegedly influenced by concerns over Maryam Nawaz's potential defeat. Following the rejection, Javed challenged the decision of the Appellate Tribunal and, as a result, has been incarcerated for eight months, claiming to be a victim of political reprisal. Advocates argue for the approval of her nomination papers and issuance of the order to allow her to participate in the elections.

Meanwhile, the hearing on the bail application for Sanam Javed, arrested in connection with the PML-N house attack case, has been rescheduled to January 15.

Tehreek-e-Insaf leader from Gujranwala NA 80, Chaudhry Tariq Gujjar, former MPA, started a regular campaign, and a large number of people participated in Tariq Gujjar's rally and expressed their love for Imran Khan.

The cost of both chicken and eggs rises again.

In Lahore, the live broiler chicken's price has surged by Rs. 5 per kg. The wholesale rate for live chicken now stands at Rs. 385 per kg, with retail prices reaching Rs. 400 per kg. The cost of chicken meat has risen by 7 rupees, resulting in a new price of Rs. 580 per kg. Additionally, the price of eggs has reached Rs. 392 per dozen.
