- Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was imprisoned after an illegal verdict, has spent 21 days in custody. After arguments from lawyers in the Supreme Court and Islamabad High Court, judges remarked that the sentence was incorrect. However, despite this acknowledgment, the sentence has not been overturned, and Imran Khan is not being granted his basic human rights and facilities. Despite oppression and continuous injustice, Imran Khan remains resolute in his fight for the nation's true freedom until the last ball.
- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi was unlawfully taken from his home in the Cypher case and presented in a special court under the secret act, where he was initially given a 4-day and then a 3-day physical remand. Against this, Shah Mahmood Qureshi's lawyers have filed an application in the Islamabad High Court today. The Secret Act requires the president's signature for it to be enacted, but an illegal court is enforcing it.
- Request Filed In Islamabad High Court against Imran Khan’s ‘bail rejections’ after Imran Khan's arrest. Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Ali Ijaz Buttar, stated in his tweet, After the arrest of Imran Khan on August 5, 9 bails were dismissed in absentia by different courts of Islamabad. We have challenged this decision in the Islamabad High Court. Our stance is that bails should not be granted on technical grounds; decisions should be made according to merit and law so that there is a chance for a fair trial. Imran Khan can also be summoned from the court and can appear on a video link.
- Fake cases have been registered against Hammad Azhar, Qasim Suri, Azam Swati, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Jamshed Cheema for posting on social media. Another fake case has been filed in the FIA for their arrest. The actual intention is to completely dismantle the party organization by arresting these leaders as well before the election.
- Protests Across the Country against electricity bills, some attempt suicide. Electricity bills have made life unbearable for the people. In different cities across the country, some have attempted suicide, some have resorted to begging, and others have conducted protest demonstrations against the government. The people responsible for putting the burden of these electricity bills on the public have escaped, leaving the public suffering.
- Female members of PTI have been illegally detained for over 100 days. In cases for bail, sometimes the judges and sometimes the prosecutors don’t show up. Every time, women and their families are punished. During the last hearing, a lady worker in court told the judge, "I have a 3-year-old daughter. There is no one in my entire family who can take care of her. She doesn't sleep without me. I miss her a lot.” She cried, but the judge did not grant her any relief.
- PTI Leader Mazhar Islam stated in a released video that the country is going through the worst economic conditions. Instead of investing in dam projects, PML-N opted for coal and LNG imports, which have now become a burden. When Shehbaz Sharif was raising prices, he said it wouldn't affect 64% of the population. Where is that 64% now? Unfortunately, this situation will continue, and Pakistan is facing its longest crisis.
- Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Aamer Farooq, removed the judge who sentenced Imran Khan from his position and made him an OSD (Officer on Special Duty) until a new assignment comes. The notification states that he won't be assigned any responsibilities until the new position opens.
- A new report on inflation reveals that within a week, the prices of 22 essential goods, including onions, eggs, sugar, lentils, and ghee, have further increased. Commenting on this, PTI leader Farrukh Habib said, "Incapable Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has run away after ending corruption cases and collecting looted money for London. He has laid landmines of inflation for the people before he left. The prices of edible items keep increasing every week."
- On Friday evening, PTI workers in Sargodha, led by district president Usama Ghias Mela, held a motorcycle rally for Imran Khan's release. Rally participants chanted slogans in support of Imran Khan and the Real Freedom Movement.
- During the first six months of 2023, more than 450,000 Pakistanis migrated abroad for employment purposes. Due to increasing inflation, low wages, and human rights issues, 450,000 Pakistanis have already left the country.
- Hospitals under the supervision of fake Medicines Factory Owner’s husband who is the current Caretaker Health Minister are facing severe shortage of medicines. At Lahore's Ganga Ram Hospital, the stock of 25 categories of medicines has run out. Documents show that medicines for heart patients have also finished. Drip sets, anesthetic drugs, and medicines to stop bleeding during surgery are also in shortage. Panadol and diabetes medicines are no longer available.
