- Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was imprisoned after an unlawful sentence, has spent twenty days in custody. All courts, including the Supreme Court, have declared his sentence illegal, but there is a continuous delay in suspending the sentence.
- Today, a hearing of the ‘Toshakhana sentence suspension’ case was held in Islamabad High Court. Suddenly, the lawyer of the Election Commission fell ill and couldn't appear. As a result, the hearing was adjourned until Monday. Imran Khan's lawyers requested that an hour should be given for the lawyer to appear; otherwise, a decision should be taken. However, Justice Aamir Farooq declined this request. The lawyer must appear on Monday, regardless. The court instructed the Election Commission accordingly.
- As the Toshakhana sentence suspension case was nearing its conclusion, there was a swift effort to restrict Imran Khan's lawyers in various ways. Today, after the hearing, when the lawyers reached the lift, it mysteriously malfunctioned and they were stuck in the lift in humidity and heat for an hour. Upon exiting the lift, the lawyers stated that these are attempts to hinder us from following Imran Khan's cases, but we will not be deterred. Demand for an investigation into the matter by Tehreek-e-Insaf.
- Chairperson Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court today, in which she revealed that due to inhumane treatment, the former Prime Minister's health is deteriorating in prison. His life is in grave danger, and he is also losing weight. The court is urged to take immediate action.
- In response to Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan being consistently denied justice, Secretary of Information for Tehreek-e-Insaf, Raoof Hassan, reacted." Continued denial of justice to Imran Khan casts a slur on the face of the judiciary. CJ of IHC is acting impudently when caught naked in the act of complicity with judge Dilawar in wrongfully awarding conviction verdict in a fake & fraudulent case. He is delaying justice by announcing unwarranted adjournments which is further compounded by holding PTI legal team in illegal confinement inside a lift at the IHC. - Vice Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, was presented in a special court under the Official Secrets Act today, where the court approved an additional three-day physical remand for him. Shah Mahmood Qureshi's lawyers revealed that he is being made to sleep on the floor, subjected to inhumane treatment, and irrelevant questions are being asked in the case. Despite this, Shah Mahmood Qureshi stands with Chairman Imran Khan in his cases.
- Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan's sisters had submitted a request to jail authorities to meet him, but the jail authorities responded, "There are orders from above not to grant permission to meet." Following this, today, Imran Khan's sisters filed a request in Islamabad High Court.
- On the day of Imran Khan's arrest, the police had also taken Ali Sajjad Khan into custody. However, he was not presented in any court. Tehreek-e-Insaf had filed a request in Lahore High Court against it. Today, Ali Sajjad Khan was presented in the High Court by the police, and the court ordered his release.
- Attock, Rahim Yar Khan, Peshawar, Karachi, Gujranwala, Islamabad, and citizens across various cities of the country are protesting against electricity bills. People have set their bills on fire and announced a transportation strike starting from Monday.
- For the first time in the country's history, the price of sugar has reached 176 rupees per kilogram, and simultaneously, the dollar has reached 301 rupees, raising concerns of further inflation. The ‘so called’ proponents marching against inflation have now left, leaving behind the public in a hell of continuously rising inflation.
- Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar paid an unexpected visit to Jaranwala today, where roads had to be closed for his protocol. The already distressed citizens had to endure further inconvenience due to the disruption caused by the protocol arrangements.
