Imran Khan's Message - Oct 29th, 2024
(Speaking to reporters and his lawyers in a makeshift courtroom inside Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi)
I want to clearly state that those who voted in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment betrayed Pakistan by shaking the very foundations of our Constitution.
I was tortured by being confined in a cage, treated worse than animals. This was an extremely vile act. Electricity to my cell was shut off for five days, leaving me in complete darkness. I was confined to the cell for ten days. For several weeks, any visits by family members, doctors, or lawyers were blocked.
They want to break me through this torture and hardship, but I will stand firm for the genuine freedom of the Pakistani nation.
Nawaz Sharif is not concerned about the future of Pakistan. Nor is he concerned about the best interests of the Pakistani people because he has stashed his wealth and properties abroad. They only come to Pakistan to loot and plunder it and then return to their homeland. He went to Britain 22 times while he was Prime Minister. However, now he is the 12th man [cricket terminology - sidelined] so he has gone back to his motherland.
I am deeply concerned over the abduction of Intazar Panjutha. This enforced disappearance is a result of the enmity against me personally.
There is complete lawlessness in the country. It has been 21 days since the abduction of my focal person. What is his crime? It is unfortunate that even the courts are silent.

واضح الفاظ میں کہنا چاہتا ہوں جس نے بھی چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے حق میں ووٹ دیا ہے اس نے آئینِ پاکستان کی بنیادوں کو ہلا کر پاکستان کے ساتھ غداری کی ہے۔
مجھے جِس طرح پنجرے میں بند رکھ کر ذہنی اذیت دی گئی یہ بُہت ہی نیچ اور افسوسناک حرکت ہے، جانوروں سے بدتر سلوک کیا گیا،سیل کی بجلی پانچ دن تک بند رکھی گئی، سیل میں گُھپ اندھیرا رکھا گیا، 10 دن تک سیل سے باہر نہیں نکلنے دیا گیا، کئی ہفتے تک میرے ڈاکٹرز، فیملی اور وکلا کو ملنے پر پابندی لگائی گئی، یہ سختیاں اور ٹارچر کرکے مجھے توڑنا چاہتے ہیں مگر میں اِس ظلم کے باوجود پاکستانی قوم کی حقیقی آزادی کے لیے ڈٹا رہوں گا۔
نواز شریف کو پاکستان کے مستقبل اور پاکستانیوں کے مفاد اور بہتری سے کوئی سروکار نہیں، کیونکہ اِسکے پیسے ، جائیداد سب باہِر ہے، یہ پاکستان میں صرف اور صرف لوٹ مار کے لئے ہی آتے ہیں اور پھر اپنے وطن واپس لوٹ جاتے ہیں، جب یہ وزیراعظم تھا تو 22 دفعہ برطانیہ گیا تھا اب تو ویسے بھی یہ بارہواں کھلاڑی ہے، اس لئے اپنے وطن واپس سدھار گیا ہے۔
انتظار پنجوتھہ کے اغوا پر شدید تشویش ہے، یہ جبری گمشدگی میری ذات سے مخاصمت کا شاخسانہ ہے، مُلک میں مکمل لاقانونیت کا راج ہے، میرے فوکل پرسن کے اغوا کو 21 دن ہو گئے، اُسکا قصور کیا ہے؟ افسوس ہے کہ عدالتیں بھی خاموش ہیں۔
