Dr. Shahbaz Gill is a member of PTI since 2018. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in leadership and is an academic teaching leader in change management internationally, while also having served as an advisor to Imran Khan during his government. He is a distinguished TV analyst and a writer for leading English publications. Dr. Gill served as the former spokesperson for the Chief Minister of Punjab. He was abducted and severely tortured in 2022 in an attempt to make him leave PTI and Imran Khan. His unlawful and inhumane torture was condemned by Imran Khan who requested to visit him in jail, though corrupt state authorities did not allow Shahbaz Gill a release or Imran Khan to visit him. He was released and bravely continues his social media and TV analysis work today.
