LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) UK organised a grand event in honour of Mr Jahangir Tareen, Head PTI policy. Addressing to a large gathering of over 600 PTI members, he said that challenges often present themselves to Mr Imran Khan and he responds like a great leader. Discouragement hardly touches him and he is highly inspiring, passionate and dedicated person, he added. These are some of the qualities that made people like me, who were working on other political platforms, to join hands with him to rebuild new Pakistan, he said.   Talking about PTI???s vision on rural Governance, he said, ???we would empower the community and adopt bottom???s up approach to replace the top down system???. He said that PTI???s local governance model will be provincial and will reflect special features of provinces. PTI will bring economic opportunities to the villages which include agrotechnology, communal dairy farming services etc.   In urban areas PTI???s Governance will have devolution of power to Municipiality level, said Tareen. He said that city Government will be the sole custodian of Urban Governance and each city will raise independent revenue for development.   Mr Jahangir Khan Tareen said that he was overwhelmed to see tremendous turnout at the event. He thanked PTI UK elected bodies for organising a great evening. At this occasion, regional office bearers also addressed to the gathering. The speakers include: Mr Asim Khan (President London), Dr Sabreena Razzaq (President South West), Mr Asim Basra (President South East), Mr Kashif Chaudhary (Vice President East of England), Mr Asad Mahmood (coordinator Insaf Research Wing) and Mr Javaid of Jiye Pakistan party.   Other elected officials from London, who attended the event, included, Mr Qawi Awan, Mr Furqan Nadeem, Mr Zaid Khan & Dr Fouzia Sadiq. From East of England region officials who attended the event included Mr Saeed Hashmi, Mr Rana Ejaz and Mr Jawad Bhatti. Mr Akram Dhareeja and Mr Peer Ali Shah travelled from East Midlands to attend the event. Mr Shahid Dastgir, Mr Mian Waheed,  Mr G M Khan, Mr Atif Mayo, Mr Atif Shah, Mr Nazir Malih, Mr Ch Shoaib, Dr Naveed, Mr Amjad Shabbir also participated in the event. Mr Shakir Qureshi of ???Karwaan-e-Fiqr??? also came along with his family to attend the event.   Organisers of the event specially thanked Ms Tashfeen, a rising PTI star from Peterborough, and commended her political efforts in Pakistan. In the end, Mr Asim Khan appreciated London Events team which worked around the clock to make the occasion unforgettable.
