- Sixty-six (66) days have passed today since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan has been serving the toughest jail for 66 consecutive days. He is not being given the same facilities as common prisoners. The lawyers of Chairman Imran Khan had submitted an application in the court, on which Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq has heard and reserved the decision for several weeks. Today, Imran Khan's lawyers have again submitted an application to the court for an early hearing and decision on this application. The lawyers say that the most important application at this time is to ensure the safe life of Imran Khan.
- Superintendent Adiala Jail refused Imran Khan to talk to his sons on the phone, saying that the accused arrested under the Official Secret Act are not allowed to talk abroad. The Official Secret Act Special Court has sought the SOP from the jail till October 18, the Attock Jail authorities had given the same answer earlier. Imran Khan's lawyers say this, "If the court gives an order, who are the jailers to make excuses, a judicial person is in the custody of the court, the court should make jailers obey its orders, only then will the court be respected."
- Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha said about the health of Imran Khan in jail, "The circumstances in which Khan Sahab is kept inside the jail must make physical differences but he is fine and bravely facing hard jail time in bogus cases. He has no illness, including high blood pressure. The conditions in which he is being deliberately kept are in grave danger to his life. Our request for safe food is pending and if Khan falls ill or anything happens to him, the trial judge is responsible, including the prison administration and other relevant authorities.
- Former MNA Junaid Akbar while speaking on the daily talk show said "If I will leave Imran Khan today, not even ten people will come with me. It is only Imran Khan's vote bank. We are a little bit afraid of the establishment and respect them but the next generation is completely fearless. Alas! Our institutions have trampled our traditions."
- Sheikh Rasheed's abduction case was heard today before the Rawalpindi Bench of Lahore High Court. The court was told that Sheikh Rasheed has not been found yet and three weeks more time should be given. Instead of three weeks, the court gave time till October 18th. Sheikh Rasheed's only fault is to be loyal to Imran Khan.
- The interview of Sadaqat Ali Abbasi was recorded before his release and aired last night. The anchor had to re-record the beginning of the interview to make it fresh but the anchor forgot to change his tie which shows that the interview was forcibly recorded before release. After Sadaqat Ali Abbasi's allegations, his May 9 videos also went viral on social media, in which he told people that Imran Khan's order was to remain peaceful.
- The Muslim League-N started rallies and processions to welcome the return of its fugitive and wanted leader, banned Tehreek-e-Insaaf from holding rallies. They lured people with food and motorcycles, but the people rejected every trick. All the Jalsas were a complete failure, after which today the PML-N announced to cancel all the next Jalsas.
- Thousands of workers who supported Imran Khan and resisted state fascism after May 9th have been illegally arrested for more than 150 days. Sanam Javed, Tayyaba Raja, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmood Rasheed, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Haleem Adil Sheikh were arrested while Barrister Hassan Niazi, Sheikh Rasheed, Awais Younis, Abdul Karim Khan and others are still missing. The cases of all workers and leaders are being delayed continuously in the courts.
- Senior journalist Adnan Adil said in his tweet "HUBCO Private Power Company (IPP) sells a unit of electricity to the government at Rs 40. In the financial year ending June 30, 2023, the company made a profit of Rs 62 billion. Electricity became expensive due to such IPPs. The rulers who launched these projects are enjoying the kickbacks while the people are suffering the consequences."
- Due to increasing inflation, unemployment, and political instability in Pakistan, the tendency of youth to go abroad is increasing and the rate of brain drain in Pakistan is increasing to an alarming extent. Millions of Pakistanis left the country in the 16 months of the PDM government, only from January to August five lakh young people left the country.
- Tandoor owners in Quetta set the price of a 240-gram roti at Rs 60, hinting at further price hikes. According to the details, the price of roti has been increased once again due to rising inflation by the Tandoor owner of Quetta.
