- Sixty-five (65 ) days have passed today since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Khan was secretly arrested in the cipher case on 15th August, against which he filed a bail application, which has been suspended by the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court for a month and a half. Today, the bail case was heard in the court, Imran Khan's lawyer, Barrister Salman Safdar argued, “Never shared cipher with any enemy country, in the past never tried only under Official Secrets Act , always applied Official Secrets Act along with Army Act, Navy or Air Force Act”. Lawyer Salman Safdar referred to 7 different cases. Justice Amir Farooq, despite these strong arguments, adjourned the hearing till Thursday.
- The jail trial of the cipher case against Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has started in Adiala Jail today. Imran Khan's lawyers strongly protested that the pleas regarding the jail trial of the cipher case and the judge's qualification are pending in the High Court, so the case cannot be heard. Judge Zulqarnain Abul Hasnat adjourned the hearing but also set the date of 18th October to indict Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Imran Khan and his lawyers completely refused to accept the jail trial as it is a clear violation of human rights.
- After the briefest meeting with Chairman Imran Khan, the lawyers came out and told that Imran Khan's health is deteriorating day by day in jail, Imran Khan's blood pressure was also high today. Instead of being brought to the courtroom, he was put behind a cage-like net where he could not even talk to his lawyers. Senior lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa said that it is feared that Imran Khan is being given slow poison in the jail. Imran Khan also recorded a protest in front of the judge that I am not asking for any facilities, only to be treated equally like other prisoners, on which Judge Zulqarnain Abul Hasnat gave half incomplete orders to the jail authorities.
- In the Islamabad High Court, the case was heard against suspending the judgment of the Tosha Khana case, making the state a party in the case and disqualification notification. Chief Justice Aamir Farooq asked if there is any judicial reference in this regard, then present it, on which Latif Khosa referred to judicial decisions in support of his arguments. The Chief Justice remarked that, after seeing the judicial reference on this application, he will issue an appropriate order.
- Chairman Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan met him in Adiala Jail and after the meeting told the media that Imran Khan has completed recitation of the Holy Quran four times in jail. He is gaining knowledge all the time and his face has become enlightened. Imran Khan has lost weight but he is healthy and is standing firm for his nation and not doing deal with anyone.
- Speaking on the daily talk show, senior journalist Fayyaz Raja said, "I have been doing journalism for 23 years, election survey is my field, I also teach in colleges and universities, I am also a student of history. I have never heard or seen of anyone as popular as Imran Khan. The establishment will have to talk, Imran Khan has given a very simple solution to the two offers that have been made. Imran Khan is a person of strong nerves. He has defeated his opponents psychologically as well as politically. It is impossible to break Imran Khan."
- Despite the guarantee submitted by the Attorney General in the Supreme Court, the trial of civilians in the military courts has started today, the spokesperson of Insaf Lawyers Forum Mashal Yousafzai said in her tweet that the trial has started against the court orders. Today we are going to Peshawar Cantt to support our people. Hassan Niazi's father Hafizullah Niazi also said in his tweet that the military trial of the civilians has started, the guarantee submitted in the Supreme Court has gone into the trash.
- An important meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Core Committee took place today. They strongly condemned the illegal, unconstitutional, behaviour meted out to Chairman Imran Khan, the prisoner of conscience, during his imprisonment in the jail. Also condemned the speedy handling of cases, Imran Khan's lack of confidence in the justice system and The Chief Justice of Pakistan was appealed to hear serious cases. The meeting described the judges' conduct as very biased and urged Justice Aamir Farooq to ensure justice by transferring Imran Khan's cases to impartial judges.
- Israel has been attacking innocent Palestinians for the past two days and has killed hundreds of innocent citizens, but Fazal ur Rahman remembers the human rights of Israelis instead of the Palestinians. In his message, he asked the citizens of Palestine to protect the human rights of Israelis. It should be remembered that Fazal ur Rehman has been accusing Chairman Imran Khan of being a Jewish agent, but why is he advocating for Israel today? Instead of condemning Israel, how did he remember their rights?
- The PML-N is trying to call the people in public meetings with all the official resources and various methods, but it is constantly unsuccessful. Despite the imprisonment of the administrative structure of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Punjab, the PML-N could not succeed in a single rally. Even in yesterday's rally, people kept chanting slogans of Imran Khan Zindabad. Citizens said on Maryam Nawaz's speech, if Nawaz Sharif was so close to us, why did he leave us? Journalists were also manhandled in the PML-N rally, cameras were taken away so that the footage of the empty rally could not be played.
