Advocate Naeem Haider Panjutha’s Media Talk after Meeting Chairman Imran Khan
Chairman Imran Khan’s lawyers met him in jail, after continuous efforts for 48 hours, lawyers were finally granted permission to meet Chairman Imran Khan. Chairman Imran Khan gave a message for the Nation through his lawyers.
After the meeting, the lawyers addressed the media and conveyed that the facilities provided to the Former Prime Minister Imran Khan are even less than those given to an ordinary prisoner. Despite this, his spirits are high. Imran Khan sent a message, saying,
“There are flies during the day and insects at night in the room, water drips from the ceiling. I could spend my entire life in jail, but I will never accept slavery.”
He said that he has been given Class C confinement in jail, lentil and bread is being given for meals in the jail, there are no basic amenities. But it's not an issue; I will endure everything. However, I will not bow down; I will never accept slavery under any circumstances.
The lawyers also shared that Chairman Imran Khan is spending his time in jail by reciting the Holy Quran, which keeps his spirits uplifted.
