PTI Press Release – Increasingly tense situation between Palestine and Israel

• Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demands from the international nations to protect the basic rights of the people of Palestine and make the illegitimate state of Israel bound by international law and ethics.
• Emphasis on the key countries of the Muslim Ummah, including the OIC, to take special measures for a permanent and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue:
• The people of Palestine have every right to obtain their land and an independent state.
• The establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital is indispensable for the security and stability of the region.
• Israel's occupation and expansion of the Palestinian territories through force, inhuman coercion and brutality is the basis of the conflict.
• Israel has one of the worst records in terms of compliance with international agreements and human rights.
• The United Nations and the OIC should realize the seriousness of the situation and adopt effective strategies to resolve the Palestinian issue.
• Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf provides full political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Palestine and will continue this support until the issue is resolved amicably.
