Spurious Cases on Imran Khan and Letter of Senior Judges | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

 

In an effort to sideline PTI from the 2024 elections, its top leaders faced a barrage of fake FIRs and spurious cases. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan had over 200 bogus cases filed against him in an attempt to pressure him to withdraw from the general elections and discourage the public from voting for him. Despite his peak popularity and being considered the favorite to win the 2024 elections, these actions aimed to damage his reputation. Below is an account of some major cases against him, in which he was hastily convicted just a week before the elections, violating his fundamental rights to a fair trial.
