PTI to take street soon against price hike: Provincial Information Secretary Zahid Hussain Mohmand | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
<p>PESHAWAR: Terming the considerable increase in petroleum prices as economic murder of the masses, Pakistan Tehrek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Provincial Information Secretary Zahid Hussain Mohmand has warned that country-wide protests would be started soon.</p> <p>In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan would soon appeal the people for coming to roads as a protest against the economic onslaught on them.</p> <p>Mohmand said that the current hike in the prices of petroleum would cause a current of inflation that would compel the people to commit suicide. The rulers are busy in collecting money for their own pockets and not attentive to the problems the people in the country are facing, he added.</p> <p>The provincial information secretary claimed that in this situation the masses are waiting for an emancipator that could liberate them from autocratic rulers.</p> <p>He stated that Imran Khan would soon give call to people for countrywide protests and after that the rulers would meet the same fate which the rulers Egypt and Tunisia faced.</p> <p>He also claimed that youth in the country have started preparations for taking streets after the call.</p> <p>http://www.onlinenews.com.pk/details.php?id=175799</p>
