Imran Khan's message to the nation from jail.
Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Intizar Hussain Panjutha, gave Imran Khan's message to the nation, "Without the rule of law, the situation in this country cannot improve. Only with the rule of law, a stable Pakistan is possible. But at this time, the biggest injustice in history is being done by targeting the largest political party and trying to eliminate it. It is like killing democracy and is an insult to the people. Now the test of the Supreme Court is whether it can protect its people and democracy or not".
110 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Imran Khan.
Imran Khan has been suffering from judicial injustice for 110 days continuously. The same was demonstrated in the cipher case, where the illegal jail trial was conducted. The special court heard the cipher case today. According to the arguments of the lawyers and the decision of the Islamabad High Court, Judge Zulqarnain Abul Hasnat ordered that Imran Khan be presented on November 28 in the Judicial Complex. The proceedings of the cipher case will start again on the same conditions that were before August 29.
Despite asking the same questions in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the investigation team was permitted to investigate again.
The Al Qadir Trust case was heard in Adiala Jail today. Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Intizar Hussain Panjutha, tweeted, "NAB has given four more days in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Today, we placed the reply by Mashriq Bank and the NCA documents before the court. We asked the question to NAB that if the money came to the Supreme Court from a private account and the government or NAB was not the plaintiff in the action taken in Britain, then how did this money go to the government? No response was given by NAB".
The sign of "bat" was given, but the intra-party election was declared null and void.
The Election Commission declared the Tehreek e Insaf intra-party elections null and void and ordered to conduct intra-party elections again in the next twenty days. At the same time, Tehreek-e-Insaf also handed over the election symbol of a "bat" for the general election.
Barrister Gohar said while reacting to the Election Commission's decision, "Bat was and will be the symbol of Tehreek-e-Insaf. The order of the Election Commission is very disappointing. PTI conducted the elections according to the constitution. The Election Commission delayed the decision on purpose".
Further delay in the hearing on Imran Khan's three bail applications.
More than two hundred fake cases have been filed against Chairman Imran Khan since he was removed from power by conspiracy. Imran Khan used to appear in the courts, but since he was illegally arrested, courts have started cancelling bail in other fake cases. Imran Khan submitted a petition against these decisions which were heard today. According to lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha, the hearing on the three bail applications was postponed till November 28.
Request to prevent the arrest and provision of details in Bushra Bibi's cases heard in Islamabad High Court.
Bushra Bibi's application was withdrawn in the Islamabad High Court today. The court dismissed the application on the request to pull out the application. Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri heard the case.
Amjad Niazi was abducted even though he surrendered.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Omar Ayub said in a statement on the abduction of Amjad Niazi after his arrest, "Amjad Khan Niazi surrendered in the Anti-Terrorism Court 3 days ago. He was kidnapped yesterday by unknown persons. He was taken to an unknown place and severely tortured. It is a mockery of the entire judicial system that detainees are subjected to illegal torture despite being under the protection of the court."
The implementation of the Supreme Court's decision on military courts is still pending.
It has been a month since the Supreme Court's decision came out, regarding the military court's trial of civilians, but its implementation has not yet started. All the persons are still in military custody. These civilians were not handed over to the police, nor their cases were sent to the trial courts.
A 21-year-old student, in jail for six months, writes a letter to his leader Imran Khan from prison.
Abdullah Hassan Sharif, a young student of Kasur, wrote in his letter, "My teacher, I hope you will receive this letter well. I am doing an international relations degree. But due to the current imprisonment, my entire year has been wasted. I have been following your ideology since I was 16 years old and have stood by it to date. My faith is in La ilaha illa Allah, and I stand by it. I believe that the situation will change soon, InshaAllah. Here in the prison, the conditions of all of us are bad, but despite this, everyone is standing with you and praying for your safe return."
Numerous children, similar to Ammar Farooq, anxiously await the return of their parents.
Advocate Salman Shahid tweeted, "The only son of his parents suffering from diabetes used to visit the courts every day for the release of his father Nadeem Ahmed for six months.
His father's bail was approved yesterday, Alhamdulillah, after my arguments in the court, and today, six workers, including his father, were released in case 96/23 and case 366/23 and reached their home".
Judgment on Khadijah Shah detention case issued.
The Lahore High Court issued the verdict in Khadijah Shah's detention case. According to the judgment, the court directs the petitioner to submit a request for reconsideration of the detention to the Additional Chief Secretary Home. He will decide after hearing the parties on Friday. The petitioner can come to the court again if needed.
Asad Qaiser was arrested again after being granted bail.
After being released on bail, former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser was arrested again in May 9 cases. Asad Qaiser's only crime is not holding a press conference against Imran Khan.
Gas prices are likely to rise again.
Unfortunate news for individuals grappling with increases in bills, there is a possibility of another 200% increase in gas prices on IMF terms. Gas prices have already increased by 173% on IMF's terms. Further increase in gas prices is being planned in 2024 as well.
