A summary of today's important and breaking news regarding PTI and the country that the mainstream media of Pakistan will never show you.
Justice Aamer Farooq's facilitation for NAB continues.
Today, 101 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. In these 101 days, the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court has facilitated the anti-Imran Khan forces to the maximum extent possible. By giving its judicial cover to all the illegal activities of NAB and FIA, it has made a joke of the justice system in the country. Justice Aamer Farooq today issued a safe decision to restore bail in NAB cases and reinstated Chairman Imran Khan's bail in the Tosha Khana case while declaring the bail application ineffective in the Al-Qadir Trust case and legalizing the illegal arrest by NAB.
According to Imran Khan's lawyers, "NAB repeatedly lied and postponed the date that according to the law, Khan had to apply within ten days. When the court ordered a copy of the law from the Ministry of Law, it was found that the law came in 2001 only for eight months. The aim was only to make this arrest and NAB also apologized to the court for this misrepresentation. It was clear to the court that they did it wrong. But then why was this mistake declared correct?" This decision of Justice Aamer Farooq is another dark spot on his already tarnished repute as a judge.
NAB Court Islamabad also followed the footsteps of Chief Justice Islamabad High Court.
Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, tweeted, "NAB Court Islamabad has neither judicialized Imran Khan nor handed him over to NAB. However, case officer Asim Munir and investigator Umer Nadeem have been allowed to interrogate Mr. Khan inside the jail. This investigation was first conducted when Mr. Khan was abducted on May 9, and after that, Mr. Khan was called and interrogated several times. The same questions are asked over and over again. Then what kind of investigation is this?"
Punishment for supporting Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi's bail application rejected.
Today, the Islamabad High Court dismissed the bail request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case. Interestingly, while the High Court has halted the trial of the cipher case, both Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi are facing unlawful arrests in connection with the same case. Such a legal scenario is rare in any country worldwide.
The Islamabad High Court has issued a written decision to halt the proceedings of the cipher case trial.
Yesterday, a two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court directed the cessation of the cipher case trial. The written decision was issued today. According to the verdict, although the federal cabinet approved Imran Khan's jail trial, the court was not presented with a copy of the verdict or the summary that formed the basis of the cabinet's decision. The court emphasized the need for essential documents on record to make a justice-based decision. In light of these documents, a determination of the legal implications affecting the appellant's fundamental rights should be made. Therefore, an injunction on the cipher case trial until the next hearing was deemed necessary.
The bail of Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Begum, has been extended for only two days.
The Islamabad Accountability Court has extended the interim bail of Chairman PTI's wife, Bushra Bibi, in the £190 million scandal and Tosha Khana case till November 17.
Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the cases against Bushra Bibi. On this occasion, Bushra Bibi appeared in the court.
Open apology to Nawaz Sharif for contempt of judiciary, but no apology to Imran Khan.
The Islamabad High Court has dismissed the contempt of court petition, pending since 2018, against Nawaz Sharif regarding alleged anti-judiciary speeches. No representative appeared in court on behalf of the petitioner, Adnan Iqbal, a local citizen. The petition sought court action against Nawaz Sharif for contempt based on statements made in 2018. Meanwhile, the case against Chairman Imran Khan, involving a female judge, is still ongoing. Imran Khan has offered an apology by appearing before Judge Zaiba’s chamber. The public is questioning the judiciary, asking why there seems to be a different standard of law for Nawaz Sharif, a labelled criminal, and another for Imran Khan.
Sheikh Rasheed announced to forgive who forced him to do an interview.
According to court reporters, Sheikh Rasheed, in an informal conversation with the media, mentioned that a press conference was planned, not an interview. During the interview, he claimed to have been subjected to torture in front of anchor Muneeb Farooq, who intervened but proceeded with the interview against his will. Sheikh Rasheed added that the question about supporting Imran Khan showed his commitment to loyalty and enmity until the end.
Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Latif Khosa, also stated that Sheikh Rasheed tearfully recounted the cruelty he experienced. Following the viral news, Sheikh Rasheed later announced to the media that he was not tortured during his time in abduction. However, if it did happen, he forgave everyone. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court's prolonged silence on these severe human rights violations raises concerns.
Nawaz Sharif showed his dirty mentality once again.
Demonstrating his sick mentality, the criminal Nawaz Sharif once again mocked the political consciousness of women and said that dancing and singing in public meetings is not our culture. They have a problem with the intelligent women of Pakistan, who comprise more than 50% of the country's population. They're leaving home to play a full role in politics, and raising their voice against oppression is an alarm bell for the 50-year-old politics of the Nawaz League. The political consciousness that Imran Khan has raised among women has destroyed the politics of the Nawaz League. The bravery and courage with which the women of Pakistan have faced their oppression and fascism have shaken them. They have no other answer except to make vile and dirty comments about women. Nawaz Sharif said that this is not our culture because their culture is to throw mud at women. From Benazir's nude pictures to leaking fake audio and videos, it is their culture. His daughter uses foul language against his opponents in rallies and press conferences and generally threatens to leak their dirty audio and videos. It is their culture to call women yellow cabs and tractor trolleys. It is their culture to imprison innocent women. In the dictionary of the Nawaz League, deaf and mute women locked behind walls are noble. And women who speak up for their rights are 'dishonorable'. That is why they have nothing to offer women except filth.
Despite facing challenges, Tehreek-e-Insaf successfully held a remarkable worker's convention in Charsadda.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has held a historic worker's convention in Charsadda today. The number of people at the worker's convention is more than the PML-N rally. On the other hand, all the state machinery is also engaged in stopping the Tehreek-e-Insaf rally and convention.
The convention was done on the instructions of Chairman Imran Khan. In the coming days, Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold rallies and worker's conventions across the country.
Sugar mill owners sucking people's blood in exchange for sugar.
According to senior journalist Adnan Adil, "The FIA on Tuesday (November 14) abruptly closed its investigation into the crackdown it had launched against the recent sharp rise in sugar prices. The sugar mafia has been driven by the recent inflation. 550 billion rupees from the public. Express Tribune reports".
