Imran Khan's message to the nation from jail.
Acting Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar conveyed his message after meeting the founding chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan.
"Do not panic and stand firm, victory will be ours on February 8, Insha'Allah,"
Barrister Gohar stated, "The Supreme Court's decision poses a threat to democracy and may open the door to corruption. It is imperative to file a revisional appeal, and we will not advocate for boycotting the elections."
Three trials of Imran Khan in one day in Adiala Jail today.
Today, 163 days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of founder chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan.
The lawyers of Chairman Imran Khan talked about the cases today. "Today, Imran Khan underwent three trials, the Cipher case, Iddat case, and Tosha Khana NAB case, within the confines of the jail. Throughout the hearings, the judges consistently pressed forward with the proceedings, seemingly intent on penalizing Imran Khan. Notably, the NAB court had set a three o'clock deadline for the proceedings. While all the trials are open, it is noteworthy that neither the public, media, nor even the lawyers have the liberty to attend any of them at their discretion.
PTI withdraws its demand for a level playing field.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf withdrew the request for a level playing field, expressing no confidence in Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa. Latif Khosa said, in front of the court, "We have decided that after the decision regarding the symbol of the "bat", we will now go to 250 million people instead of your court. We were talking about a level playing field, you took away the field itself".
Tehreek-e-Insaf also withdrew the contempt petition against the Election Commission from the Peshawar High Court.
Bail application filed against Imran Khan's arrest in terrorism cases.
Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Intizar Hussain Panjutha, tweeted, "Bail applications filed in the illegal arrest of Imran Khan in the Rawalpindi terror cases. The court issued notice to the prosecution for January 17".
Hearing in the Islamabad High Court on the petition against the Iddat case.
Chairman Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, challenged the marriage during the Iddat case in the Islamabad High Court, which was heard today by Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri. Salman Akram Raja appeared as a lawyer on behalf of Bushra Bibi and gave arguments. After hearing the arguments, the court issued a notice to Khawar Manika till Wednesday.
Imran Khan's lawyer, Barrister Ali Zafar, was not allowed in Adiala Jail today.
Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, tweeted, "Senior Advocate Barrister Ali Zafar, was denied entry outside the jail for a crucial consultation. On what legal basis was this disallowed? If there is such fear, why not simply relent?"
While talking to the media, Senior Advocate Barrister Ali Zafar said, "I am pleased that the live broadcast of the "bat" case hearing allowed the public to witness our arguments. Today, we need to address the cipher case and other significant issues with Imran Khan. Tehreek-e-Insaf is committed to participating in the elections, even if we don't have the bat symbol. A boycott is not on the table."
The Supreme Court restricts media access and prohibits live coverage.
There was a ban on entry of media in the Supreme Court today. The live broadcast of courtroom number one was also discontinued. Lawyers were reacting to this matter and said,
"From today onwards, the distinction between courts in Adiala Jail and the Supreme Court has vanished. There are no public proceedings at Adiala Jail, journalists are not permitted to cover the events, and access to the Supreme Court is restricted for journalists too".
The Lahore High Court Bar Association pronounced the Supreme Court's decision as unconstitutional.

Republic Policy released a report on the popularity of social media, predicting a significant election wave on platforms like Twitter, Facebook and notably TikTok. Tehreek-e-Insaf garnered 81% support, while PML-N recorded only 9% support.

The enthusiasm of the people turned it into a grand gathering with abundant participants. Whatever the election symbol will be, people will vote for Imran Khan's candidate.
Government machinery being utilized for Maryam Nawaz's rally.
A government notification mandated the closure of schools and colleges at 11 am for Maryam Nawaz's rally in Okara. Additionally, school Principals received SMS messages on WhatsApp, requiring mandatory student participation in the gathering. Despite the widespread use of government machinery, the PML-N gathering turned out to be a comprehensive failure.
Incompetent rulers continuously fail to control inflation.
The inflation rate has surged to 44%, steadily rising. Simultaneously, not only is the right to vote being affected but also the fundamental rights of living and having two meals a day are under threat. The media and PDM spread fake propaganda about the 12% inflation during Imran Khan's tenure. However, today, there is a noticeable silence on the subject of inflation.
The prices of chicken and eggs have increased.
Lahore, Islamabad, the cost of live broiler chicken has risen by Rs. 16 per kg, and there is a notable increase in the prices of meat and eggs as well. The wholesale rate for live broiler chicken is now Rs. 424, with the retail price reaching Rs. 440 per kg. In Islamabad, chicken is being sold at Rs. 455 per kg. Additionally, the price of a dozen eggs has surged to Rs 402.
