Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf released a white paper on the performance of the Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM) coalition government. PDM government increased external debt by nearly 2 trillion rupees in 16 months, inflation eroded purchasing power and poverty rate increased sharply. Also, the Pakistani rupee suffered the worst devaluation to around 122 degrees.
Supreme Court refuses to hear the case of enforced disappearances on human rights issue.
The Supreme Court has sent back the petition filed by Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan against enforced disappearances with objections and has said that enforced disappearances do not fall under the category of affecting public interest under the Constitution and the petitioner did not refer to the correct forum. The relevant forums are the Sessions Court and the High Court where PTI's disappearance petitions are filed and dismissed.

Shortage of several essential medicines in Lahore
patients are facing difficulties due to the shortage of drugs for diabetes, blood pressure, kidney and brain. Citizens say that they used to get alternative medicine with the same formula, but now that too is not available. Even pediatric medicines are not available in the market.
Cost of Flour, sugar, pulses go up.
In just one week the cost of tomato, potato, garlic, bag of flour, live chicken, eggs and lentils rose. The price of sugar per kg increased by 57 paise.
