Police have registered a case against workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who were celebrating a peaceful freedom celebration in Rawalpindi Faizabad area. PTI leader Ali Nawaz Awan questioned in his tweet, 'Did Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal not create a free nation so that we can live our lives according to our own will? Why are we being suppressed using shameful colonial-era laws? Are we truly free 76 years later, or are we still slaves to the mentality of our oppressors?'"
