Sheheryar Afridi is a senior PTI member from Kohat, KPK. He joined the party in 2013, and has stood with Imran Khan and PTI despite major crackdown and unlawful arrests on him and his family. He is a current member of the National Assembly after being elected from NA-35 Kohat in the 2024 elections. He was born in Kohat, KPK, while his father, Nadir Shah Afridi served as a district counsellor and later became a member of parliament. His extended family including his uncle were also skilled members of the bureacracy. He has studied International & Foreign relations, as he recieved a degree from the University of Peshawar in the subject. Before joining the PTI, he contested in the 2002 election as an independent. Since he joined the PTI, he has consecutively won his seat in Kohat in the 2013, 2018 and 2024 elections. He has been in the party's top leadership, and was chosen by Imran Khan for several ministerial positions in his government.

He was arrested in May 2023 on unlawful baseless charges, he was kept in a death cell while him and his family were threatened, despite this he has stayed with PTI and was released as he serves as an MNA today.
