Central Woman Wing President, Munaza Hassan, was deeply shocked by the tragic demise of Army officers and civilians in the train accident.
She was deeply shocked by the train derailment near Gujranwala where precious lives of officers & families were lost.
She did many prayers for the deceased.

The lost assets for whom we grieve were Pakistan Army Engineering Battalion Unit Commander Lt. Col Amir Jadoon, his wife and two kids; Lt. Col Rashid; Major Adil; Lieutenant Kashif; Constable Islam; Lance Naik Zafar; and Staffers Babar and Aslam.

Munazza Hassan said: "My thoughts and prayers go to the families of the all those who lost their lives. It is a real misfortune that Pakistan Railway being one of the nation's most important asset has been destroyed. I pray for speedy recovery of injured. May their souls rest in Peace Ameen.

An independent inquiry should be held to determine the cause of the accident. The whole nation shares the grief of victims families who lost their lives in this accident."

She added: "PLM(N) Govt wants to build Orange Line Metro Train with hefty cost of 165 billion for Lahore only but has allocated a sum of Rs 41 billion under Public Sector Development Project (PSDP) for Railways in 2015-16 budget.
No one is ready to run Pakistan Railway on professional grounds. In the PPP's tenure the things were bad but Khawaja Saad Rafique who came up with tall claims to turn around the railway has done nothing in the matter either except for giving various statements."
