Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed to address observations made by Islamic Ideology Council on the draft bill on domestic violence presented by KP government asking preparation of a bill on domestic violence according to the Islamic injunctions.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has okayed the publicity plan prepared by the KP provincial information department about the developmental schemes initiated and completed in the present government tenure and directed to publicize these initiatives for raising the awareness of the people about the resources spent on their welfare.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has ordered submission of proper summary for awarding status of Tehsil to Gumbat area of Kohat, asking WAPDA authorities to connect Garrison College Kohat to main transmission line to solve load-shedding problems in the institution.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has ordered submission of summary for acquisition of land for the establishment of Cancer Hospitals at Chitral and Mardan and extension of the existing Cancer Hospitals at Abbottabad and D.I.Khan on immediate basis assuring that provincial government will initiate all necessary steps for effective implementation of these projects.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has assured to support AJK government in its demand for increasing the share of Azad Jammu & Kashmir in NFC award. AJK is not a formal member of the NFC but it is receiving 2.27 % in the NFC award. Assurance to this effect was given to the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider who met the Chief Minister at Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad.
The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has vowed to go to any extent against corruption to weed out the evil from the province as there was no room for tolerating people involved in corruption in the manifesto of PTI.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the provincial government was going all out to give relief to the man in the street through developed social sector services in the province. His government took drastic steps to widen the fiscal space of the province and investment in productive sector was one such steps leading to the overall development of the province, he added.
