Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the latest backer after its chief Imran Khan met the former chairman of the National Reconstruction Bureau, Daniyal Aziz, and a group of district Nazims here on Friday.
PTI Islamabad Women Wing and Teachers Wing have started a joint project to help people of Mohra Noor, a village in the suburbs of Islamabad, to setup a school in their area. Classes are held several times a week to train the local teachers who are willing to volunteer for this project. Teachers Wing Coordinator Dr. Afaq Hussain who teaches at several universities in Islamabad is coordinating with Women Wing to provide the necessary training to the local volunteers. Classes are also held for young children to engage them in healthy activities and provide them a basis for strong learning. People of Mohra Noor have greatly appreciated the services rendered by PTI Islamabad.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that a national government should be established in Afghanistan to eliminate the militancy from the region.
CHAIRMAN Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has demanded convening of a national conference immediately after the completion of ongoing military operation in Swat.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad has setup three camps in sectors F-10, G-9 and F-6 to collect donations for Swat Relief Fund. Besides these camps, PTI central secretariat and Insaf Marakiz in various markets of Islamabad are also collecting donations. People are donating both in form of cash and general items such as food, kitchen items and clothes.
Islamabad chapter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has opened another office in Bani Gala, part of rural area of Islamabad (NA-49) after opening of office in Jhangi Syedan (rural area of NA-48). The office is sponsored by Mrs. Zareen Nawaz Gandapur who is Vice President of PTI Islamabad and also resides in the same area. PTI President Azhar Tariq and General Secretary Awais Khalid while speaking to the gathering thanked Mrs. Zareen Nawaz and asked the locals to stand together and participate in taking the movement forward in their area. Apart from these two offices, Insaf Marakiz are also working in different areas of Islamabad including Rawal Town, Abapra, Blue Area, G-10 Markaz and F-10 Markaz.
Spokeperson for Foreign Policy Dr. Shireen Mazari while addressing a gathering of PTI Islamabad explained the causes of terrorism and explained its solution. She said that Americans are following a certain design to form a certain group of nations based on common interests which is going to further destabalize the balance of power in the world. She said that Pakistan needs to learn from its mistakes and start following an independent policy before its too late. Later on she answered several questions of the members.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday strongly advocated the trial of former president General (R) Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the Constitution for his actions since he had toppled the PML-N government.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad has started setting up information points in various areas of Islamabad which are called "Insaf Markaz". Insaf Markaz will contain all information related to PTI and will allow members of a locality to get in touch with PTI. In this connection, two markaz have started working in F-10 and Rawal town where members of Insaf Traders have setup PTI boards on top of their shops and have PTI related pbulicity material available in their shops.

Addressing Annual Sport Gala organized by Group of Rawalpindi Commerce Colleges held at Sport Complex here, he said that President Asif Ali Zardari had categorically stated that CJ Iftikhar could not be restored but after witnessing the people’s participation in the long march, he had to restore him.
PTI Central Secretariat in Islamabad has been raided by police at 4:00 am in the morning and two employees, Rafiq and Tahir have been arrested and taken Thana Abpara. Computers in Central Secretariat have also been taken into custody.
Addressing lawyers and members of civil society at the Islamabad Bar here on Thursday, Imran Khan said people belonging to all walks of life would take part in the long march on March 9, as all citizens want justice, which is only possible through a free and fair judiciary.
