Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday called upon US President Barack Obama to consider other options instead of use of force to deal with militancy and terrorism.
The Secretary General of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf  Dr. Arif Alvi arrived in Houston, Texas on May 26, 2008. An informal dinner and meeting was held at Sajjad Burkis residence with the elected officials of PTI Texas. Included in this meeting were Sajjad Burki (President), Marghub Syed (VP), Huma Ashraf (VP Women wing), Abdul Qayyum (Sec. Gen), Behzad Khan (Finance Sec), Omer Minhas (Joint Sec), Fayyaz Qureshi (Publicity Sec) and their respective spouses. The group was enchanted with the information provided by Dr. Alvi and the exchnge of ideas on the growth of PTI in USA.
The movement for justice DC/Virginia/ Maryland chapter sponsored an exchange of views and discussion on "POLITICAL & JUDICIAL CHAOS IN PAKISTAN". The event attracted audience from all segments of society, including Pakistani Americans, staffers from The Hill, reporters and local Americans.   The acting Ambassador for Pakistan Mr. Aslam Khan also attended the event.

PTI will be holding a massive protest outside the UN headquarters in Manhattan New York on Dec 1, 2007 from 12 to 3.30 PM. If you are able to come, please make sure you attend.

Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA         WHAT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI, www.moveforjustice.org), Friends of South Asia (FOSA, www.friendsofsouthasia.org), Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER, www.actionsf.org) and a number of concerned citizens from all walks of life will rally in front of the City Hall to protest the imposition of Martial Law in Pakistan and US Government’s support for military dictatorship there and also to show solidarity and support for pro-democracy movement in Pakistan.  The day of action will begin at 2pm with speeches from community leaders which will be followed by a rally.
