I'm humbled to be appointed as Secretary OIC. It reminds me of my initial days in PTI, 6 years ago. Like you all, I had a choice whether to continue my life as it comes or stand up and make a difference and do something for our nation.
I never had a doubt that PTI is the political party in Pakistan that can bring the change we desperately needed for a long long time, empowering our youth, giving everyone courage to stand up for their rights and speak up their minds to make the difference.
It is an incredible honor for me to lead Office of International Chapters (OIC) for PTI, i take it not just as service to the party but a service to our country. Khan Sb have taken PTI from an idea to one of the greatest and most admired parties in Pakistan. I've been fortunate to work closely with PTI leadership in my different roles in OIC, troughout my career i've learnt that honesty, dedication and hard work is the only way to earn respect and place yourself in a better position and this my message to all my fellow PTIians
We have seen great success and we've had turmoils and failure but it never stopped us from moving forward for betterment of our soceity in every aspect. As an overseas Pakistani i want to see this green passport earn the highest respect in the world which is only possible if we work hard to make our country great.
I believe that discipline and Code-of-Conduct is extremely important for any organization to succeed, so as an opening act, i would like to focus on consolidating Code-of-Conduct for OIC, we already have it in place but its time that expand our wings bring international chapters in symphony.
I'm appointing Asim Khan (UK) and Mohammad Omer (Middle-East) as member of co-ordination committee for OIC to draw initial draft of Code-Of-Conduct for all international chapters, we'll add more members to this co-ordination committee from different regions as when required.
Once again i Thank Khan Sb. for appreciating our efforts and trusting me with this role and i'm determined to NOT let anyone down.
Thanks and Regards.
