 Islamabad: Speaking at a gathering on women's day, Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri said that a lot of efforts are still required for creating awareness about their rights and their empowerment.

Lahore: PTI women Wing arranged a meeting for women of NA -123 at PTI candidate Mian Hamid Miraj's main election office in Bhagbanpura. Chairman Imran Khan also addressed the gathering.

A gathering was held in honor of Imran Khan by Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, President Punjab Medical Association. Dr. Yasmeen Rashid welcomed the sacrifices and principled stands taken by Imran Khan, for justice in Pakistan. She announced her joining PTI, along with many others who were present there.

Disappointment at the result of NA 55 is only natural. All of us are saddened by the outcome.There were numerous factors responsible for this, some out of our control. Where we have been lacking as an organization, will be addressed and discussed in detail, so as to learn from our mistakes.

Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri presided over a women wing meeting organized by Pindi district women in connection with the election campaign of NA 55. The event was held at the Murree Road office of

 Rawalpindi: Led by president  Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri, the women wing protested in NA-55 calling for release of Dr. Aafia. They also urged the people to vote for PTI so the voice of Dr. Aafia can reach the parliament effectively.

A medical camp was setup in NA-123 by women wing PTI and Dr. seemi, Dr. Abida and Dr. Zaka attended to the patients. PTI candidate in NA-123 Mian Hamid Meraj PTI visited the medical camp by women wing and thanked the doctors for this worthy initiative.

President PTI, Women Wing, Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri was the chief guest at a function organized in Malpur, Islamabad by the Islamabad Organizing Committee member, Mrs. Nazish Khalid.

Karachi: Addressing the formation ceremony of Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh’s Executive Body said that women are the ultimate sufferers of the war on terror therefore the need of the time is to heal the wounds of the country through social reconstruction. She said that so far Tehreek-e-Insaf Women Wing has facilitated the war-ridden areas of the country with 15 wells and among them 4 are in Swat. One well costs Rs. 35 to 70 thousand.

This is one of the first wells , out of the many that the Women's Wing is constructing, in different parts of the country where there is an acute shortage of clean drinking water. Rawalpindi: An annual prize giving ceremony was held at the Rawalpindi Press Club for the  Hina Academy of Arts and Crafts where Ms. Fauzia Kasuri was the chief guest. On behalf of PTI women wing she donated 10,000 Rps for buying sewing machines for the school.

Strange as it may sound, but it is a fact that scores of people even in the federal capital fetch water on foot from far-flung areas to meet their domestic needs.

PTI Islamabad Women Wing and Teachers Wing have started a joint project to help people of Mohra Noor, a village in the suburbs of Islamabad, to setup a school in their area. Classes are held several times a week to train the local teachers who are willing to volunteer for this project. Teachers Wing Coordinator Dr. Afaq Hussain who teaches at several universities in Islamabad is coordinating with Women Wing to provide the necessary training to the local volunteers. Classes are also held for young children to engage them in healthy activities and provide them a basis for strong learning. People of Mohra Noor have greatly appreciated the services rendered by PTI Islamabad.

President of Women Wing PTI Islamabad Mrs. Zareen Nawaz Gandapur has said that rulers of this country are disconnected from the problems of the people and their preference is dollars and good will from America. Load Shedding has severely damaged the economy of our country and people are finding it difficult to make their ends meet. However the rulers are completely deaf and blind towards the hardships of the nation.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad Women Wing distributed relief goods among women and children of Swat currently residing in G-9 sector of Islamabad. Relief items included clothes for women and children, food items, toys for children and other items of daily use.  Women Wing workers also discussed the problems being faced by the women of Swat and how they can be further facilitated.

Hassan Abdal:PTI Womens Wing President, Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri took a trip to the Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal to meet with Sikhs who had to flee their homes in Swat and Buner. 26 April 2009, Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad chapter setup a free medical camp in Siraye Kharbooza, a village around Islamabad. Aftab Ahmed of Welfare Wing in coordination with Saeed ur Rehman of Siraye Kharbooza team setup this camp. Two female doctors, Dr. Firdous and Dr. Bushra, volunteered for the camp through the efforts of Women Wing lead by Mrs. Zareen Nawaz. Huge numbers of women and children visited the camp to get themselves checked up by the doctor.

Lahore: While welcoming the new women activists, Imran Khan Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf said PTI is  determined to empower women with a basic 3 point agenda: Rule of law, Education and Social Justice.

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, Women's Wing President, Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri has strongly condemned the atrocities and public flogging of the 17 year old girl, as seen in the images coming from Swat. At a women's meeting in Rahmatabad, Pindi, attended by female residents and councillors of the area,she demanded an impartial inquiry by the government and accountability of the criminals.
