CEC Meetings

In compliance with the decision of the Central Executive Committee arrived at, in its meeting which ended on 1st October 2009, the SG Notification # 12 issued on 16th September 2009 is hereby being modified only on the issue of Closure of Electoral List and related matters.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Imran khan has called the meeting of party central executive committee on October 04 for the alliance in the coming Bye election in NA 55 and NA 123.

 After the vacations of Eid ul Fitr opposition parties started their campaign for the bye-elections. Tehreek Insaf also called its meeting to see the matters related to the possible alliance with other parties. Chairman of party Imran khan would chair the meeting.

The Central Executive Committee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has passed the following Code of Conduct and Ethics in its meeting held on 7^th and 8^th February 2009.

In its CEC meeting held today in Islamabad, the PTI reiterated its belief that the Constitution is a sacrosanct document of the people of Pakistan, guaranteeing the integrity, security and solidarity of the country. PTI opposes any individual that undermines the constitution and rule of law. 

Islamabad: The PTI CEC met on March 28, 2009 to deliberate on the political, economic, and security situation in the country. The meeting was presided by Chairman Imran Khan.

Islamabad: The two day CEC meeting concluded with a press conference in which Chairman announced a number of resolutions related to the deteriorating political, economic, and security situation in the country.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held its central executive committee meeting in Islamabad which was chaired by Imran Khan. This was held across 2 consecutive days with a focus on the current political & economic uncertainty and imminent presidential elections to be held on 6th Sep 2008. The next steps for PTI as a political party were also discussed.

Omar Cheema has been appointed as the Central Information Secretary after CEC approval.

The Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has appointed PTI Sindh Vice President Dr Arif Alvi as acting chairman of the party due to the arrest of Imran Khan.

In a press conference at Lahore after the CEC meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chairman Imran Khan has declared Altaf Hussain, leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as the No 1 terrorist of Pakistan.
