| Friday, July 27, 2007 | | Open letter to Pakistani sisters
| By AZUBAIR | 1249 Views | | International, Canada, Politics | Dear Pakistani sisters, Aslam-o-alaikum, Political involvement is a social responsibility, and a means to fulfill one's obligations to the society. Social responsibility in Islam is derived from the Qur’anic verse; "And [as for] the believers, both men and women - they are friends and protectors of one another: they [all] enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong." (Surah Tauba:71). Islamic history provides precedents of women playing an active role in the society. Islam holds both men and women equally responsible to play their part in the society. | | Read

| Sunday, June 24, 2007 | | Lets have a debate, PLEASE
| By The Oracle | 2533 Views | | News, Opinion Articles, Press Release, Pakistan, Balochistan, NWFP, Sindh, Punjab, International, UK, Canada, Socio-economic issues, Politics | Let’s have a debate, shall we? Q1. How many of you believe the cold blooded murder in Nishtar Park by the MQM was a calculated target killing to weaken the opposition in Sind before the election? Q2. How many of you believe that the election will be fair? I would conclude based on the past election records of the present dictatorship in Pakistan that the election results are already finalised. This kind of view is common in western media; they are quite about this as they would not find any one else serving their interest in the destruction of Pakistan better than Musharaf not even Mrs 10%. Q3. There is enormous load shedding all over Pakistan; this is the first time that this scale of disaster has been in the history of the country. Deliberate?
Q4. Do you believe that the dictator’s cronies are lying to the people and the world that this is due to massive scale of economic activity? Q5. Do you believe that the IMF is right to say that there is no economic development or any increase economy for the last 3 years in Pakistan?
Q6. Have you also noticed when the Indian terrorist altaf calls up his slaves in Karachi, suddenly there is plenty of electricity available for lights, when all around is complete darkness? Q7. Musharaf is an Indian, born in India, trained in India, his family and friends are still in India, same as terrorist altaf. Do you believe that both RAW trained agents? History proves that Musharaf crossed the border illegally in 1972 when he was 22 years old according to his false documents, and believe it or not he was conscripted in the Pakistan Army straight away and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was in power at that time. I would like to remind everyone that Bhutto was solely responsible for East Pakistan break-up, if he wasn’t drunk or greedy for power; east and West Pakistan would still be one. He robbed Mujeeb-ur- Rahman for his right to be Prime Minister. Bhutto was a charismatic speaker but funnelled millions of Pakistan wealth in overseas banks that could feed 7 of his generations to live in absolute luxury. Q8. Where do you reckon Benazir gets her money from? Q9. What job she does? Q10. What industry she owns? Q11. How many of you believe that the Pakistan earthquake was a natural disaster? Q12. How much land and disaster funds that we gave to help the victims, do you reckon military dictator, his cronies and Indian terrorist altaf usurped in NWFP and Azad Kashmir? Have a guess.
Benazir is a willing partner in keeping the opposition divided. Her bosses are the same as Musharaf & Terrorist Altaf.
Terrorist Altaf Hussein uses the same tactics with his in-laws, and known for regularly beating his wife, people are asking question about the where-about of his father-in-law and his wife has not been seen by anyone recently. Terrorist Altaf hates women. Don’t be surprised if you see statements from his association with male and female prostitutes in the near future, hopeful you will hear from them when the case comes to court, that is why Indian Terrorist organisation i.e. MQM tried to pay off our Hero Imran Khan which he rejected. Well done Imran. Q13. How many of you believe that Terrorist Altaf is a pervert? Q14. How many of you believe that responsible Pakistanis should inform the world that any dealings, contracts are null and void under the dictatorship, as the government does not represent the people of Pakistan?
I would like to finish of by saying that Pakistani & Muslims should not blame American or British people, as more than 73% of them have the same view. Bush & Blair do not speak for their respective people; neither do Dictator Musharaf, Terrorist Altaf and Mrs 10%.
Q15. How many of you believe that our Hero Dr Abdul Qadir Khan is being poisoned slowly and slowly getting exposed to the radiation by the present Dictatorship, as you remember Litveyenko’s recent death in UK? Q16. How many of you still believe the Pakistan Nuclear defence is still safe? Q17. How many of you read ‘Military Inc.: Inside Pakistan's Military Economy’ by Ayesha Siddiqa? Q18. How many of you believe that General Hamid Gul will make the best Head of all armed forces of Pakistan after Musharaf? Q19. How many of you believe that Dr AQ Khan will make a better President as Dr Kalam for India, if he survives the attempt on his life by Musharaf? Q20. How many of you believe that Imran Khan is the only hope for Pakistan as the PM? Q21. How many of you believe that his honourable Chief Justice Iftikhar will get justice? Thank you for your patience and perseverance. | | Read

| By AZUBAIR | 1573 Views | | Press Release, International, Canada, Politics | | June 18, Los Angeles: International coordinator, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Mr. Ali Zaidi has condemned the granting of knighthood to Salman Rushdie, author of the controversial novel, “The Satanic Verses,” and has categorized it as appalling insensitivity to the Muslim emotion. Speaking to the Toronto chapter on telephone, Mr. Zaidi said that this deplorable decision could accelerate an already damaged world to one step further into an ethical strife, which is avoidable provided civilizations respect each others’ sensitivities- though British government has behaved irresponsibly. | | Read

| By AZUBAIR | 1661 Views | | Press Release, International, Canada | Toronto- May 26, 2007: The Coordinator of Tehreek-e-Insaf Toronto Mr. Salman Shuaib has severely criticized Sindh government for issuing externment orders against PTI chairman Mr. Imran Khan and Punjab government for confining him to Lahore. Mr Shuaib said that Imran Khan’s non indulgence in corruption, principled politics and philanthropic work have earned him credibility and respect of masses, and as a citizen of Pakistan he has the right to visit any part of Pakistan. He said it is quite telling that after victimizing the country’s Chief Justice, the Musharrraf junta is confining Pakistan’s most respected and famed son Imran Khan. Mr Shuaib said that such orders should be issued against Musharraf and MQM leaders who are responsible for the Karachi carnage. | | Read
