PTI South West hosted a lovely iftar dinner in Bristol to celebrate Pakistan Day on August 14th. Around 150 PTI members and locals gathered to participate in the event which was attended by special guests Ch. Nasir Ahmed Chappar (PP115) & Raja Naeem Nawaz (PP114). The dedicated event team was lead by Ali Sher (Information Secretary South-West) who also hosted the evening. The evening was started by beautiful talawat by Mohsan Javed (PTI Bristol) and a naat by community senior Mr Arif Khan.
President Dr Sabreena Razaq Hussain welcomed everyone to the event and expressed her happiness at seeing many young children at the event who would be the youth of tomorrow. PTI President South-East Asim Basraa and PTI General Secretary London Furqaan Nadeem shared their thoughts and aspirations for Pakistan. Guests from other elected bodies included Aamer Rana (General Secretary South-East) and Ejaz Rana (Finance Secretary East of England). PTI South-West also welcomed the Youth Wing Co-ordinator Wales Atiqa Khan and the Cardiff team.
