| Insaf Sasta Tanoor opens up in Islamabad

On 29th October 2008, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad chapter opened up first Insaf Sasta Tanoor in Islamabad. Chief Guest of the opening ceremony was Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan who cut the ribbon to formally start Sasta Tanoor in Islamabad. Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan congratulated PTI Islamabad and specifically G-6 chapter for taking the initiative. He said that although we are not in power, we will do whatever we can in our capacity to help the poor masses of the country. He also expressed his pleasure on successful openings in Lahore and Peshawar, and informed the public that one will be opening up in Rawalpindi very soon.

The Central Executive Team of PTI is on the Party Organization and Membership Drive. Tuesday 28th Oct. 2008. Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Dr. Arif Alvi, Central Vice President Mr. Ejaz Chaudry and CEC member Asif Ali Khan are touring different districts of Pakistan to improve party organization and expand the party membership. In a phone interview, Mr. Ejaz Chaudry informed that they had a meeting in Lahore on Sunday, 27th Oct in which party organizational matters were discussed besides the plans for thier membership drive.

| PTI-NWFP President Opens Sasta Tandoor

The Provincial President of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Asad Qaiser Sunday inaugurated the opening of 'Sasta Tandoor' project to provide bread to needy and deserving people at cheap rates. The Sasta Tandoor has been setup at Bara Gate on Bara Road and will provide bread weighing 150 gm at a rate of Rs.3 only, says PIT press release. More than 1000 breads (roti) will be provided to people on daily basis. The PTI provincial chief said that a comprehensive programme has been chalked out to extend 'Sasta Tandor' programme to Peshawar City by January next while such 'tandors' will also be open almost in each districts of NWFP. He said that PTI has already set up such type of bread bakers in different cities of the country and successfully providing much need bread to people at controlled rate. The tandoor in Peshawar is the first one in NWFP and gradually the facility would be expanded to different areas of Peshawar, he added. Asad Qaiser said that PTI was striving hard of provision of basic amenities of life and inexpensive justice to people at their doorsteps and vowed that the party workers would work day and night for achieving this mission despite the limited resources. Qaiser expressed his concern over high prices of bread and flour and urged the provincial government to take concrete steps for easily availability of atta to people. The increase in prices of flour and bread has made life miserable for poor and mediocre families who are facing sever difficulties in making their both ends meet, he added. The PTI, he added, considers it as need of the hour to provide much needed Roti at cheap rate and in this way could do any service to people. He also urged the provincial government to start such projects in NWFP and give some relief to the pressed masses. Later, he inaugurated the Sasta Tandor by cutting the ribbon.

| Politicians must bring money back to the country: Imran

Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that the politician will have to bring their money back to the country if they are loyal to Pakistan.
Talking to media men, he said the poor man is about to die economically with the devaluation of rupee. Imran said that in-camera briefing was only eyewash. He claimed that the government had decided to continue former president Musharraf policies as no new policy was formulated in the Parliament about the war on terror. He blamed the government of violating the constitution by not ordering an inquiry into the killing of innocent people during the military operation in the tribal areas. He said that supremacy of law should be established to save the country and bank accounts should be protected under the constitution. Imran said that his party will continue to support the deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in his struggle for the restoration of judiciary.

| PTI Welcomes CJP Iftikhar Chaudry In Karachi

KARACHI: Deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has reached Karachi today (Saturday).
The deposed chief justice left for Islamabad Airport in the form of procession on early Saturday morning. Workers of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) were also present on this occasion.
Speaking to media persons, Atharminallah, the spokesman of Iftikhar Chaudhry, said that lawyers’ movement would continue till the restoration of all deposed judges. He said that lawyers were still committed to their cause and struggle.
