Dear insafians,

As Imran Khan had predicted a month ago, when Noon League started its campaign against PM Gilani, that this campaign is another NooraKushti that will soon die down. So, here is the news from Express Tribune which shows that IK's prediction was right.

LAHORE:What was meant to build up in coming days into a massive countrywide anti-government campaign by the opposition has fizzled out with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) calling off all its rallies against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)-led government.

According to sources privy to the PML-N’s strategy, the party will devise a new strategy after the federal budget. The Express Tribune has also learnt that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif will travel to London just after the budget, where he will remain till the current political deadlock resolves itself, and a political transition takes place.

Interestingly, the decisions by the PML-N come a few days after the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is reported to have mediated between the government and opposition during his trip.

The Express Tribune had earlier reported that Prime Minister Erdogan has mediated a deal between the government and opposition whereby the former will ensure a smooth and quick transition to a caretaker setup and the eventual stepping down of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, while the latter will take off the pressure and let the budget pass smoothly.

Sources in PML-N told The Express Tribune that Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and some other important leaders called on Nawaz Sharif on Friday, where the protest movement against the prime minister was discussed. It was decided that the remaining scheduled rallies would be cancelled.

The movement was announced soon after the conviction of Prime Minister Gilani in a contempt case by the Supreme Court.

The leaders also discussed the ruling of National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza on the disqualification of Prime Minister Gilani – which will be further discussed in detail in upcoming party meetings.

The sources said that Nawaz has directed party members to cooperate with government in passing the budget. It is pertinent to mention that the PML-N had earlier announced that it would boycott the meeting of the National Economic Council, in the spirit of protest against the current premier. The party had even stopped Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif from participating in the meeting which was presided over by Prime Minister Gilani – however at the eleventh hour Nawaz decided to send Senator Ishaq Dar.

The senator, of course, is considered to be the closest aid of Nawaz, and the main negotiator with the government.

Before his departure for London, Nawaz will make a few speeches, such as the one today (Saturday) at the Supreme Court Bar Association. However, Nawaz will mainly discuss Balochistan and politicization of lawyers. When contacted, PML-N Information Secretary Mushahidullah Khan said that the party will soon issue a new schedule of protests.

I also read this news somewhere yesterday ! I think both political mafias have planed this noora kushti.. In my opinion N league was thinking that they might trap IK by offering alliance but It was an excellent decision by PTI leadership not to support N league in any protest.. and eventual another failure for N league..

I think PMLN might resign from National assembly ,I think this is the only chance they have left to keep afloat in election against the OTI.I think PMLN will take this action in next week or so.

I don't know where did you get this information that N league will resign next week..if you have some source of this information then please share !

In my opinion N league will not resign ..because they cant afford to oppotunity of giving an election budget in Punjab..and that might be the reason to stop all the protest until the budget which will be a step towards rigged elections..

Secondly, they will take their share in the next care taker setup so I dont think that they will resign before that..

But they will keep playing Noora Kushti just to make people fool..and the only thing which is pressurizing them to go all this topi drama is PTI !! But they dont realize that people of pakistan are well aware of these cheap tactics.

Well it is my opinion, with PTI's popularity on rise and PMLN's problem with their big words, if I was the Nawaz I will resign in national assembly next week and use this resignation as election campaign.
Because this is the only better solution for PMLN ,and the rigging question I think PMLN know that they are not going to win enough seats to form a government in Punjab or federal level, matter of fact no one is going to get enough seats to form the federal or Punjab, and if PLMN is in care taker they will not be able to use rigging slogan after the election,so it is best to stay aside now .I may be wrong ,and Allah know better.

Very clear message: Never ever trust these liars. IK showed great political understanding by staying away from Noora League.

Another Noora League compromise ......U have noticed that IN Attock jalsa... NS targeted Mush... in public to say something...nothing abut Zardari or Gailani.

Well.. Moulana Diesel played the role of broker and working behind the scene and there is deal arrangement between Noora, Peo Pulao and Diesel underway for the next election.

There is an understadnign that in public we will say some Moola Just dialogue but in actual compromise.

I think we should ignore NOORA LEAGUE as they told a year back IK is not a politician and using the abuse against our beloving leader IK.

We should not give them any response and totally ignore them. We should work only on one issue, how we will support PTI and which lines we have to work to increase the membership and rating of PTI in Politics.

Our work is to keep the slogan of "Corruption Free Pakistan" in all our coming Jalsas. And if possible then we must chalking (allowing places) this slogan.

@Bliss ...You are right there is no bigger munafiq then Pml-N and MQM and we have to save PTI from these two big Munafiqs ...They will use their all tactics during election to defame PTI but We will defeat them InshaAllah ..But PTI should keep in mind this statement "United we stand divided we fall....God Bless Us
